š What if healing environments could be designed⦠not just for the body, but for the human experience?
As a radiologist, I spend my days using technology to see inside the human body.
MRIs.
CT scans.
Imaging that reveals what was once invisible.
But something changed my perspective.
At one point in my life, I experienced medicine not just as a physicianā¦
ā¦but as a patient.
And that experience taught me something important.
Healing isnāt only physical.
Itās also about:
Connection.
Environment.
Shared experience.
When people feel supportedā¦
When they feel understoodā¦
When they feel part of something largerā¦
something powerful happens.
Thatās why Iām fascinated by immersive environments and dome spaces.
Because inside these spaces we can combine:
šØ Art
š¶ Music
š Storytelling
š Community
ā¦and create experiences that help people reconnect with themselves and with each other.
In a time when anxiety and disconnection are rising, spaces like these may offer something we need more than ever.
Not just treatment.
But transformation.
Iām grateful to join the Dome Fest West Fulldome Forum panel:
⨠āSanctuary Under the Dome: Creating Transformative Art & Wellness Experiences in an Age of Anxiety.ā
Iām honored to share the conversation with incredible innovators and creators working to make immersive experiences accessible to communities everywhere.
Looking forward to sharing and learning together!
