hat is Health Profession Regulators of Ontario or Federation of Health Regulatory Colleges (FHRCO)?
"The Federation of Health Regulatory Colleges (FHRCO) exists to foster health regulatory collaboration in Ontario, and its members the 26 colleges that regulate 29 distinct health professions. It was founded in 1992. "

Health Profession Regulators of Ontario (HPRO) is the same organization as the Federation of Health Regulatory Colleges of Ontario (FHRCO). The HPRO website that is accessible to the public does not provide the organizational profile of FHRCO but it provides information and links regarding member colleges. FHRCO or HPRO shows a great influence on the Health Regulatory Colleges of Ontario. If this is true, It is concerning that a single organization is capable of influencing the 26 Health Regulatory Colleges in Ontario on their policy making. Kindly address the following questions.

Questions regarding the operation of HPRO or FHRCO

1. Is the Federation of Health Regulatory Colleges of Ontario (FHRCO) funded by the Provincial Government?
If Yes, does it come from the Ministry of Health?
If No, does it come from Private Corporation?

2. Who are the officials of FHRCO? How are they selected?

3. What part of the Regulated Health Professions Act, 1991 (RHPA) provides authority for FHRCO to influence and participate in the administrative and policy-making functions of Health Regulatory Colleges?

4. What is the role of FHRCO in Health Regulatory Colleges?

5. If it is not in RHPA, Why is the federation directly participates in the policy-making of the regulatory organizations if it is not mandated by the Regulated Health Professions Act, 1991 (RHPA)?

6. If it is not in RHPA, Why do officials of Health Regulatory Colleges join FHRCO if it is not mandated in the Regulated Health Professions Act, 1991 (RHPA)?

7. How can the PUBLIC trust the policies made by HEALTH REGULATORS that it is free from conflict of interest if private organization has direct influence on the regulators?

HEALTH REGULATORS are mandated to protect PUBLIC INTERESTS and SAFETY not to ADVANCE BUSINESS INTERESTS

Questions for CMA & Mobile Health Clinics
1. What solution do you recommend for your claim of Collapsing Health Care System?
2. How will Mobile Health Clinic replace Emergency Room?
3. Where are the logistics for Mobile Health Unit coming from? Federal, Provincial or Private Sector?
4. Is the Mobile Health Clinics a form of a walk-in clinic in a van?
5. Is there a Licensed Physician in Mobile Health Clinic? or will it utilize VIRTUAL CARE or DIGITAL HEALTH with a Nurse or Physician Assistant?
6. Can Mobile Health Clinics provide services for URGENT CARE and MINOR SURGERIES? If not, will this be just a business competition for walk-in clinics?

Professional Health Regulations like the Ontario College of Pharmacists has engaged in a series of questionable policy-making that benefit Private Businesses and do not protect the Public Interest. An excellent example of this is "ONLINE PHARMACY and DIGITAL HEALTH" OCP silently amended the regulation on Remote Dispensing, Central Fill and Cross-Jurisdictional Pharmacy Services to justify the Operation of ONLINE PHARMACY.

This does not protect the interest of the patients, but it advances business interests and creates unfair business competition with small independent pharmacy operators.

The CMA should advocate for the more straightforward integration of International Medical Graduates (IMG) or Internationally trained Physicians into the Health Care System and not only utilize them as Physician Assistants by Online Health Clinics. This will address the shortage of Doctors and the "Collapsing Health Care System"

I hope that the Lobby of CMA is not to advance the business interest of a specific group of providers or businesses but for the interest of Every Medical Professionals and the Public.

The ONTARIO COLLEGE OF PHARMACISTS & PHARMAPOD, Who is benefitting from it?
In 2018, Canadian Pharmacists Association invested 3 Million dollars in PHARMAPOD. Pharmapod is headquartered in Dublin, Ireland.
What is PHARMAPOD?

QUESTIONS TO OCP:

How did a Dublin-based software platform start a business arrangement with the Ontario College of Pharmacists?

What kind of contract does Ontario College of Pharmacists has with Pharmapod?

Who is managing the Data that is being collected from different community pharmacies?

What benefits did PHARMAPOD bring to the Practice of Pharmacists in Ontario since the implementation of the platform?

How much is the Ontario College of Pharmacists paying for the Pharmapod Platform?

What is the relationship of Pharmapod to Pharmapod Canada Inc. Adam Yahn, Consultant, was registered as a LOBBYIST in 2019?

Is this another QUESTIONABLE CONTRACT AND EXPENSE that the OCP get into to benefit PRIVATE CORPORATION?

On a separate issue, Mr. Billy Cheung, Chairman of the OCP Board of Directors, has not answered the OWNERSHIP of PHARMASAVE HOLDINGS LIMITED.

Is it a coincidence that Pharmapod HQ and Pharmasave Holdings Limited are registered in Dublin, Ireland?

The College is reckless in using its funding which comes from registration fees. The College should not increase the fees of registrants without an independent auditor.

The Members of the Public, Registrants, and Independent Pharmacy Operators, OCP, should be held accountable for their FRAUDULENT ACTIVITIES and for NOT PROTECTING THE BEST INTEREST OF THE PUBLIC.

PHARMACISTS PRESCRIBING PAXLOVID?

Why will pharmacists want to take the liability for prescribing experimental drugs?

It is not about the Liability Suits but the potential adverse events to the patient. Since the medication is new on the market and the studies are limited. Limited studies on drug-drug interactions and limited studies on drug-disease interaction.

If a patient tests positive for COVID with severe symptoms, is it logical to be managed in a community setting?

Will you prescribe something that may be potentially harmful to the public? Dispensing this in the Community Pharmacy setting means, the patient will have to come to the pharmacy and potentially spread COVID19.

If the vaccine is effective, that should serve as prophylaxis, is it not?
Also, if the patient has minor symptoms and the virus is self-limiting, why not allow the body to use its immune system to recover. This is the same concept we follow for ANTIBIOTIC STEWARDSHIP.

CORRUPTION IN ONTARIO COLLEGE OF PHARMACISTS

THE REGISTRAR AND CEO OF THE ONTARIO COLLEGE OF PHARMACISTS HAS NOT ADDRESSED THE OPEN LETTER REGARDING THE CORRUPTION INSIDE THE REGULATORY BODY.

Even professional regulatory bodies like the Ontario College of Pharmacists is filled with officials with no background in pharmacy. THE CORRUPTION AND LOBBY OF BUSINESS INTERESTS (LIKE DIGITAL HEALTH and ONLINE PHARMACY) are rampant.
