George Wilbert Crosby, born in Galt Ontario, to Edith Walker and John Crosby on 14 July 1923. George married Clara 'Olive' Bryans and had 2 sons, the eldest born in 1944. George and Olive didn't have the best marriage. In 1955, George met Jane King, and started an affair that produced 2 daughters. Thr first was born Brenda Hayward in Ingersoll Ontario on 30 May 1956. She was immediately put up for adoption and was in one or two foster homes before being placed in her forever home. Brenda Hayward was adopted by Marjorie 'Elizabeth' Budd and Richard Glen Mayberry and renamed her Ann Jennifer Mayberry. Thr affair continued and Jane, who went by Jean, got pregnant again and gave birth to Carol Hayward in December of 1957 also in Ingersoll Ontario. This time George and his wife adopted the Carol Hayward and changed her name to Sherri Lea Crosby. Also in 1957, another boy started living with George and Olive, as their son, but rumors say he was taken in from one of Olives sisters.
