What is a doula?
Doula is a non-medical support person for you and your family during a life transition. Some of the most common life transitions doula's are sought out are: reproductive experiences and experiencing loss of any kind.
What do they bring with them?
🥥 Emotional support (processing the birth, new family dynamics, emotions related to transitional experience).
🥥Evidence based information on the latest research in understanding your body and planning/implementing supports accordingly.

Doula is NOT
🫒 A medical professional/can’t diagnose, take blood pressure/ prescribe or give out medication
🫒 Help pack and move
🫒 Babysit or stay with children without their parents
🫒 Transport clients with their own vehicle
🫒 Deep cleaning
🫒 Make decisions for clients or speak on behalf of client
