Meet your facilitator, Sharon Clouden-Woods, MSW, Lead Therapist at Still Rising Wellness and a compassionate Registered Social Worker. She is dedicated to helping individuals navigate emotional distress caused by chronic illness, depression, anxiety, intimate violence, and elder abuse. As an experienced professional, Sharon is committed to integrity and maintaining a positive attitude in all her interactions.

Sharon employs evidence-based, solution-oriented therapy delivered with empathy and care. She is highly skilled in Trauma-Informed Care Practice (TICP) and utilizes a variety of therapeutic frameworks to address safety concerns and help clients develop effective coping strategies. Her integrative and strengths-based approach includes person-centered and culturally sensitive techniques.

Sharon also supports clients dealing with feelings of guilt, grief/loss, and trauma—whether physical, emotional, or spiritual. She works collaboratively with clients to explore and remove obstacles that hinder their ability to live fulfilling lives.

She incorporates therapeutic methods such as Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Informed Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing to provide comprehensive care.
