Introducing Imam Yasin Dwyer who will be our first speaker at the Justice for Soli Vigil.

He was Canada's first and only full-time prison Imam for almost 12 years.

Imam Yasin is a person of many talents – He has a profound knowledge of Religion and Arts, Black Canadian culture, and the History of Muslims in the West.

He serves as the Executive Director of the Muslim Chaplaincy of Toronto, leads many cultural events, and still has time to counsel those in need, like the Faqiri family.

Imam Yasin was one of the first supporters of the Justice for Soli movement and is a very dear and close friend of the Faqiri Family

We are immensely pleased to announce that Imam Yasin will honour us by speaking at our Vigil.

It is a remarkable opportunity to listen to the wise words of and learn from a man of many talents.

Let’s all give a warm welcome to Imam Yasin Dwyer!
