📣 We Want to Hear From You – Opinion Health Online Survey on HIV Prevention (Compensation Provided)

Opinion Health, an organization specialized in healthcare studies, is currently launching an online study on HIV prevention. The objectives of the study are to better assess perceptions and behaviours about HIV prevention. We are specifically seeking adult (18+) Black cisgender women to participate.

***Registration Link in the Bio*** Women’s Health in Women’s Hands will be hosting a virtual PrEP focus group for healthcare and service providers, to share their knowledge and insights on providing PrEP and/or HIV prevention services.

What: PrEP Focus Group for Healthcare and Service Providers

When: Wednesday, February 19th, 2025 ~ 10:00am - 12:00pm

Where: Virtual via Microsoft Teams

Eligibility Criteria:
- Must provide/have provided HIV prevention services to Black and other racialized women
- Must provide/have provided PrEP-specific services in the Greater Toronto Area for at least six months (e.g. prescribing, HIV/STBBI testing, patient support, adherence and retention support, educational/awareness raising, advocacy, research, coverage navigation, etc.)
- Must fit at least one of the criteria mentioned

Participants will receive the meeting link once they complete the questionnaire and eligibility is confirmed. For more information, please email natasha@whiwh.com.

Registration link in the bio!!! Women’s Health in Women’s Hands CHC, Africans in Partnership Against AIDS, and the Black Coalition for AIDS Prevention bring you this year’s World AIDS Day event.

The theme for World AIDS Day is “Take the Rights Path”, which calls for the centering of human rights for those who are living with and impacted by HIV/AIDS.

Please joins us for a day of speakers, a community member panel discussion, spoken word performances, and our community healing circle. Refreshments, lunch, and TTC Presto tickets provided.

Leave for the March: 12:30pm
March begins at 1:00pm

The goal of this series is to build capacity in healthcare providers and service providers who work in SRH, and who service African, Caribbean, and Black (ACB) community members in Ontario.
The series features three workshops on the following topics:
- Barriers to SRH Care

- The Intersection of Anti-Black Racism and SRH Care
Feb. 28th, 2024 ~ 11am - 12pm

- The Impact of Cultural History on ACB Health
