This work contributes to the growing evidence base supporting conservative, nonpharmacologic approaches to spine-related pain management, an important consideration amid the ongoing opioid crisis.

When I think of the American Dream, Chef Lidia immediately comes to mind. Her journey—from escaping Tito’s communist Yugoslavia during the Istrian Exodus to building a life and legacy in New York—is the definition of perseverance, hard work, and hope. Her story is a reminder that when people are given an opportunity, they can thrive — they can build, create, and contribute in ways that change communities for generations.

Tonight’s conversation was full of inspiration: immigrant women, business entrepreneurship, and of course… pasta 🍝
