When people say they have “bad knees,” it often sounds like something is permanently damaged. ✨

But many times, the problem isn’t the knee itself, it’s the support around it.

Your knees rely on strong, coordinated muscles like the quads, hamstrings, and glutes to absorb load and control movement. When that support isn’t doing its job, the knee can start to feel painful, irritated, or unstable.

That doesn’t mean your knees are bad.
It usually means they’re under-supported.

Stronger support. Better movement. Happier knees.🦵

If knee pain keeps coming back, it might be time to train the system that supports it, not just the knee itself.

Shoulder pain from a rotator cuff injury can make even simple movements feel challenging. 💪 This month’s newsletter from PhysioPlus Health explains how physiotherapy helps rebuild shoulder strength, restore mobility, and retrain the muscles that stabilize your joint so you can move with confidence again. A structured rehab plan focuses on improving range of motion, reducing pain, and safely guiding you back to daily activities and sports. Small, consistent progress leads to a stronger and more resilient recovery.

Start your path to a stronger shoulder today:

Let’s train your rotator cuff muscles .💪

A simple band exercise that helps build shoulder stability and control:

✅ Tie a band to a doorknob and close the door securely
✅ Position your arm at a 90° angle
✅ Keep your elbow close to your body
✅ Step away to create resistance
✅ Hold for 5 seconds, then relax
✅ Repeat as needed

Small movements like this can make a big difference in shoulder strength and injury prevention.

👉 Focus on control, not speed. Quality reps matter most.

When you understand your exercises, everything changes.

You move better, stay more consistent, and actually start seeing progress.

That’s why we don’t just hand out exercises, we make sure you understand what you’re doing and why.

Because better understanding leads to better results. ✨

Rehab works best when you’re confident in every movement you do.

Spring is here! 🌳 Which means more walks, more time outside, and way more steps than your feet are used to.

It usually starts small… a little soreness, a bit of fatigue… then suddenly you’re thinking about your feet way more than you want to. 🦶

You don’t have to just “push through it.”

If something’s been feeling off, now’s a good time to get ahead of it so you can actually enjoy being active this season.

Book an assessment with us to see if orthotics could help keep you moving comfortably this spring! 👣

Rehab isn’t just about strength or stretching, cardio plays a bigger role than most people think.

Your cardiovascular system helps support how your body heals, moves, and performs during recovery.

Here’s why physios include cardio in rehab:

✅ Improves circulation to healing tissues
✅ Builds endurance for daily activities
✅ Helps reduce pain sensitivity
✅ Supports energy, mood, and recovery

The goal isn’t just to fix one area, it’s to improve how your whole body handles movement and load.

👉 If recovery feels slower than expected, your rehab program might be missing this key piece.
