How Epicure and I Met

In 2018 I was diagnosed with pneumonia, asthma and, rheumatoid arthritis six months after I came back from Cuba with my friends. I was still managing going to work, and attending my doctor's appointments even though I was slowly deteriorating.

During the winter break, my parents took me to the Emergency where I was hospitalized for a week to clear out pneumonia and to see specialists for my asthma and rheumatoid arthritis. After being hospitalized I decided to go see a natural path to be more educated on rheumatoid arthritis. My natural path and I talked about food sensitivity tests, that can detect what foods do I need to avoid to decrease inflammation in my joints. In all, I needed to avoid soybeans, plums, milk (goat, sheep, and cow), barely, egg whites, corn, and casein.

At first, I thought avoiding these foods would be easy, but I was having difficulty for months until I was introduced to Epicure through a cooking class. I gained an excellent amount of information about Epicure, the labels were easy to read and the ingredients list was affordable and easy to find at my local grocery store.

Epicure has changed my food habits in many ways, but most importantly I gained extra time for myself instead of needing extra time in the kitchen, I can find the ingredients that I need at my local grocery store and my grocery list is shorter. Without Epicure, my body would not be cured!
