The Primary Respiratory Mechanism (PRM) is a concept in cranial osteopathy describing subtle motion between the brain, spinal cord, membranes, cerebrospinal fluid, and surrounding tissues.

Cranial osteopathy uses gentle techniques to support mobility, reduce tension, and help regulate the nervous system.

People often seek cranial treatment for headaches, TMJ tension, stress, neck pain, and post-concussion symptoms.

The body is always moving — maybe the skull was never meant to be completely still either.

Acupuncture has been used for centuries and today many people use it to support:
• stress & nervous system regulation
• muscle tension & recovery
• headaches & TMJ
• sleep & digestion
• overall wellness

Not every exercise is made for your body.

We’re seeing a lot of neck exercises online where the head is hanging off the bed in deep extension.
Looks harmless… but for some people, it can compress structures in the cervical spine and affect blood flow through the vertebral arteries.

đźš© If you ever feel:
• dizziness
• lightheadedness
• blurred vision

That’s not “normal.” That’s your body asking you to stop.

A safer approach:
âś” Keep the neck in a neutral or slightly supported position
âś” Focus on controlled movement, not end-range stretching
âś” Build strength without forcing extension

Strong doesn’t mean aggressive.
Smart always wins.

📍If you’re not sure what’s safe for your neck, get it assessed properly.

Treatment of the muscles of the face

We don’t just look at the surface — we treat what’s underneath.

Facial muscles are constantly working:
expressions, chewing, talking, even stress…
and over time, they start to hold tension.

That tension can show up as:
• Jaw pain / TMJ
• Headaches
• Facial asymmetry
• Tightness or heaviness in the face
• That “tired” look
Why it works:

Your facial muscles are connected through fascia (SMAS).
If one area is tight, it pulls everything else out of balance.

👉 Treat the muscles = improve function and appearance

04/08/2026

Massage relieves trigger points by reducing tension, improving circulation, and restoring muscle function.

04/03/2026

Not just workouts.

• Mobility
• Recovery
• Proper mechanics

That’s the difference.

03/29/2026

TMJ treatment = muscle balance (not just the joint)

03/17/2026

How acupuncture interacts with SMAS

1. Mechanical stimulation

2. Neuromuscular reset

3. Circulation boost

4. Collagen & elastin signaling

Because real results don’t come from chasing wrinkles…
they come from treating the structure underneath.
