OsteoSofia

OsteoSofia OsteoSofia is created to offer Osteopathic Manual care, and Workshops related to the Sofia( Wisdom) in our body and how we as Humans can manifest it.

After I finished my Manual Osteopathy Diploma (D.O.M.P), and was asked to teach at several schools, I decided to open this page, but I was not sure what shall i name it. So I decided to meditate to see if the name will come to me, after 3 weeks of mediation I received the name OsteoSofia, which means The Divine Wisdom in the Bone system. People usually think of our skeleton as a dead matter, yet life starts from within, from the bone marrow, and it is this breathing of life and death that is manifested in our thoughts, feelings and actions. Through the specific treatments and knowledge provided by OsteoSofia, your body will learn how to be in balance between those two poles, and live a more harmonised life.

✨𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐮𝐦𝐚-𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐝 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐲, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐕𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐬 𝐍𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞 & 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐨𝐝𝐲 ✨

What an incredible experience yesterday in 𝐓𝐨𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐨! 🌿
I had the joy of leading a 𝐦𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐬𝐲𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐬 on trauma-informed release — exploring how the 𝐯𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐬 𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞, 𝐟𝐚𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐚, and 𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐲 interweave in the healing process.

We went beyond anatomy and technique — into the 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐨𝐝𝐲, where the spiritual and the somatic meet.
Through this integrative lens, we explored:
• How the 𝐯𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐬 𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞 𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐠𝐞𝐬 𝐩𝐬𝐲𝐜𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐚
• The 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐞’𝐬 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐥𝐮𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 on the amygdala and stress response
• How 𝐟𝐚𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐚 𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐬 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐲, 𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐡𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐦
• And how 𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 can deepen our understanding of trauma, embodiment, and soul regulation 🌌

It was truly heartwarming to see how deeply this resonated with practitioners eager to bring 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 into bodywork and psychotherapy.

If you’re part of a 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐲 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥, 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐞, 𝐨𝐫 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩 interested in hosting this 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 𝐨𝐫 𝐰𝐞𝐛𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫, I’d love to connect.
Together, we can help therapists integrate 𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐲, 𝐧𝐞𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐢𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 for deeper healing.

Zero Sugar ≠ Zero Risk

Diet sodas and “zero sugar” fizzy drinks are often marketed as the healthier choice, but long-term research tells a different story. Large population studies show that frequent consumption of both sugar-sweetened and artificially sweetened soft drinks is linked with a higher risk of Type 2 diabetes.

One daily can of an artificially sweetened soda has been associated with approximately 38% higher diabetes risk in adults, compared with low or no consumption. Sugary soft drinks show similar or even greater associated risk. These findings appear consistently across multiple countries and study designs.

This does not prove causation, but the metabolic patterns are too strong to ignore. There are healthier hydration choices that support your long-term well-being.

Hydrate wisely. Your future self will thank you.

Can the Future Influence the Past?

Physicists in Copenhagen and beyond have explored a strange quantum effect that seems to bend time itself.

In the Delayed-Choice Quantum Eraser Experiment, a photon passes through two paths — but scientists decide how to measure it only after it’s already traveled.

🔍 Here’s the mind-bender:
The later choice appears to determine what the photon did in the past.
It’s as if reality waits for us to decide — and only then “fills in” what has already happened.

⚛️ But here’s the truth:
Physicists don’t believe the experiment shows literal time travel or rewriting of history.
Instead, it reveals that at the quantum level, cause and effect blur together.
The universe doesn’t follow our linear sense of “before” and “after.”
It behaves like one inseparable whole — where observation and reality are deeply entangled.

💫 Maybe the lesson isn’t that the past changes…
but that the present moment defines what the past ever meant.

✨ “Perhaps we don’t live from past to future, but from choice to meaning.”

Most of us don’t need ghosts — we already live with our own.
The haunting happens in the mind: the replayed memories, the unfinished conversations, the shame loops that echo louder than any haunted house.

We call it overthinking or self-sabotage, but often it’s just the psyche’s way of saying,

“I’m still here. You haven’t buried me yet.”

To haunt yourself is to revisit the rooms inside you that you’ve locked and labeled “not now.”
It’s painful — but also sacred. Because within those echoes are the parts of you that still long for presence, compassion, and release.

You don’t need to exorcise them — you need to listen.
That’s how ghosts become guides.
That’s how therapy — or conscious self-work — truly begins.

🖤 Happy haunting. May your shadows speak softly this season.

But if you’re tired of haunting yourself alone —DM me. 👻
We’ll explore your shadows in a safe, grounded, and (dare I say) slightly spooky way.
Gentle hauntings only 👻

Masochism is not simply about seeking pain—it’s a window into the complexity of the human psyche.

🔹 Sometimes, we internalize pain because it feels safer than confronting rejection or abandonment.
🔹 For others, humiliation or suffering becomes unconsciously tied to love, attention, or connection.
🔹 Freud described it as anger turned inward, while psychology today also links it to early relational wounds and trauma.

Behind the mask of masochism, we often find:
• Longing for love and safety 💔
• Unprocessed guilt or shame ⚖️
• Fear of loss or abandonment 🌑
• A hidden cry to be seen and accepted 👁

Understanding these patterns is the first step toward transforming them. Healing begins when we learn to experience love and intimacy without needing to suffer for it.

Not to mention that a big component can be our relation or core belief to religion that portrays sacrifice and pain to a certain extreme as a way to God !

💙 If this resonates with you, know that you don’t have to go through it alone.
✨ You can DM me if you feel ready to explore this further and find new ways of healing.

When home feels like a battlefield, the brain responds just like it would in war.

Research from University College London and the Anna Freud Centre shows that children exposed to family violence develop brain activity patterns strikingly similar to combat veterans.

Using fMRI scans, researchers found that maltreated children have heightened responses in the amygdala and anterior insula—the brain regions that detect and process threats—when viewing angry faces. These same regions are hyperactive in soldiers who have experienced combat. In other words, repeated exposure to violence rewires a child’s emotional circuitry for hyper-vigilance.

While this adaptation helps children sense danger in the short term, it also primes the brain for anxiety disorders and long-term struggles with mental health. Often, these changes are invisible—many of the children studied had no psychiatric diagnosis, despite clear neurological impact.

✨ Here’s the hopeful part: therapy can help. By working gently with the nervous system, we can retrain the brain away from constant hyper-vigilance, support emotional regulation, and create a sense of safety that was missing in childhood. This is not just about symptom relief—it’s about rewiring the brain toward resilience, trust, and inner freedom.

If this resonates with you—or with someone you care about—feel free to DM me. Healing is possible, and you don’t have to walk that path alone.

BREAKING NEWS:
According to The Daily Beast The
U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is reportedly planning to remove COVID-19 vaccines from the U.S. market within months, a major shift in public health policy, citing concerns over efficacy and safety.
A 2022 study published in Vaccine (PMID: 36055877) raised concerns about mRNA vaccines, finding an increased risk of serious adverse events, including myocarditis and pericarditis, particularly in younger males after the second dose. The study estimated 11.5-12.5 serious adverse events per 100,000 vaccinated individuals aged 18-39, prompting debates about risk-benefit ratios for healthy younger populations. Critics argue this overlooks mRNA vaccines’ role for people as a whole, while supporters point to such studies to justify more transparent safe vaccine options.

Several countries have already scaled back
COVID-19 vaccine programs:
• # Norway: Limited boosters to elderly and immunocompromised, citing low risk for healthy younger populations.
• * Sweden: Restricted boosters to those over 65 or with specific health conditions.
• ER United Kingdom: In 2022, the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) stopped offering COVID vaccines to healthy children aged 5-11, except those in clinical risk groups, following JCVI advice. Spring 2025 boosters are limited to those 75+, care home residents, and immunocompromised individuals aged 6 months+.
