We have also demanded on your behalf that the Ministry of Health provide us a date when the vaccines will arrive, however they are yet to do so.

We should not wait for our loved ones to fall severely ill before our government steps up to do the right thing.

We will continue to apply pressure until we are able to make our community a safer, healthier place for all.

Due to high demand and the need to maintain physical distancing, we will not be able to offer walk-in vaccinations at this time.

Please note the following:

When you arrive, we will ask you to complete a screening form to ensure the vaccine is safe for you
Wear clothing that allows easy access to your upper arm
Be prepared to stay back at least 15 minutes after your injection for observation

Immunizations are set to begin this coming Monday, October 23rd. We will be open 8am to 8pm daily from Monday October 23rd - Friday October 27th in order to make it easy for you to come before or after your work or school or on your break. Although we recommend getting your vaccine as soon as possible, vaccinations will be available for several weeks. We encourage employers to give employees extra time during their break to get immunized as this will reduce the amount of sick days used during the busy holiday season that’s fast approaching. No appointment is necessary, simply walk-in at your convenience.

In order to save you time and/or a second trip, please read the following carefully and call us before coming in if any of the following apply to you:

1. If you have NEVER had the flu-shot before (please see your doctor)

2. If you have received any vaccinations in the last 6 weeks

3. If you have a fever, infection, or feel unwell

4. If you are currently taking any immunosuppressive medications

5. If you have received any blood products (containing immunoglobulin) in the last 3 months

Please be aware that pharmacists are only permitted to administer to patients 5 years and older.

FluMist intranasal will also be available.
