Such an enchanting magical time at Merlins Restaurant in Ubud! They used Tarot cards to select our meals - talk about a Harry Potter-esque twist!

As I drew my cards, anticipation built, and the mystical truths revealed were almost:) spot on! The 5-course meal plus drink and gift that arrived was visually stunning and incredibly delicious, transporting us to a world of wonder and magic.

Happy Nyepi!

Before the silence, came the excitement! Last night, the streets of Bali came alive with the Ogoh-Ogoh parade! What an incredible experience to witness!

Magnificent giant puppets, depicting evil spirits, were paraded through the streets and villages, and then ceremoniously burnt to ward off negative energies, welcoming the new year.

The vibrant atmosphere was electric, with lively music, dancing, and cheers!

Today, the island transitioned into silence, marking the Balinese New Year. For 24 hours, Bali will be in meditation and introspection, recharging and renewing.

May the stillness of Nyepi rebirth inner peace, joy, connection, and loving kindness to all. 🙏
