Today, we honour the courageous men and women who sacrificed for our peace and freedom. Their bravery reminds us of the resilience of the human spirit and the true cost of liberty. May we continue to cherish and protect the peace they fought for.

Lumenus Community Services offers a broad range of over 120 high-quality mental health, developmental, autism, and early years intervention services to children, youth, families, and individuals across Toronto. We recognize that it can be difficult to navigate through the care system, especially for those with complex needs, so we utilize an integrated and collaborative approach to wrap services around clients to provide a single circle of care and support. Lumenus is where every client has the opportunity to be seen, be heard and to be well.

Lumenus came into being on April 1, 2020, with the amalgamation of four well-established agencies: Adventure Place, The Etobicoke Children’s Centre, Griffin Centre, and Skylark Children, Youth and Families.

What Does the 50/50 Draw Support?

Half of the proceeds from the 50/50 will help support the 120 services and programs offered through Lumenus Community Services and our over 13,000 clients across Toronto.

When is the Draw?

The draw will take place on December 22nd, 2025.

A funeral procession is more than a line of cars — it’s a journey of love and remembrance. It's important to show respect by slowing down and yielding so the procession can stay together, pulling over or stopping safely to let them pass, and keeping quiet by lowering music and avoiding honking.

A brief pause speaks volumes; your kindness offers comfort to grieving families and honours a life respectfully.

When someone loses a loved one, grand gestures aren't always the most meaningful. It's often the simple, heartfelt ones that bring comfort, like sending a meal when words fail or helping them with errands, housework, or childcare.

In continuing our partnership with the Arbor Memorial Foundation, we’re excited to support registered charities that benefit Indigenous communities across Canada as part of Truth and Reconciliation Day on September 30th.

Scott Funeral Home - West Toronto Chapel was honored to provide much-needed support and present donations to several organizations during Truth and Reconciliation Month.

We presented to Anishnawbe Health Toronto Anduhyaun Inc. Indspire Wigwamen Incorporated Na-Me-Res (Native Men's Residence) 2-Spirited People of the 1st Nations Indigenous Youth Roots - IYR

This initiative is an opportunity for us to acknowledge the history and legacy of residential schools, recognize the ongoing impacts on Indigenous communities, and contribute to the journey of reconciliation.
