Let’s do a re-introduction - because so much of my work has evolved, and so have I. 💕
1) I don’t see menopause as a decline. I see it as the moment women stop living by everyone else’s expectations and finally claim their power.
2) At 53, I’m the strongest and fittest I’ve ever been. Not because I push harder, but because I finally understand what my body needs in midlife.
3) I regularly wear a CGM even though I’m not diabetic. It’s one of the most valuable tools I’ve ever used for metabolic health, and has been a game-changer in how I fuel my body for performance.
4) My real strength as a clinician is making complicated health information simple. Women don’t need more overwhelm - they need clarity and a plan.
5) After 20+ years in practice, I can say this with confidence: metabolic health is at the root of almost everything women struggle with in their 40s and 50s.
6) I track things like VO₂ max, muscle mass, and continuous glucose because longevity isn’t luck - it’s built, and data helps us see where we need support.
7) I don’t want you to settle for “normal for your age.” You can feel alert, energized, focused, and strong at any age.
8) Perimenopause is misunderstood, under-diagnosed, and too often brushed off. My mission is to change the way women are supported through this transition.
9) Symptoms are information. Your body isn’t malfunctioning - it’s communicating. Once we understand the message, everything shifts.
10) I’m endlessly interested in how mindset and physiology work together. You can have the perfect plan, but if you’re running on stress and depletion, nothing sticks.
11) I’m committed to giving women something they rarely receive in healthcare: personalized, evidence-based support that treats them like the intelligent, capable people they are.
12) I believe women are capable of extraordinary health in their 40s, 50s, and beyond - often better than they had in their 20s.
Like I said at the start - health and healthcare are always evolving just as we are personally.
