We’re so pleased to welcome Dr. Lynn Sterling to the Board of Directors at Humber River Health Foundation.

A dedicated obstetrician and gynaecologist at Humber River Health, Dr. Sterling cares for patients through pregnancy, delivery, and every stage of women’s reproductive health. Her work reflects a deep commitment to patient-centred care and to advancing innovative approaches that improve the experience and outcomes for women and families.

Dr. Sterling brings valuable clinical insight and a passion for education and innovation to the Foundation’s Board. We are proud to have her voice helping guide our work as we continue supporting Humber River Health and the exceptional care the hospital provides to our community.

Last Wednesday, Humber River Health hosted a Ramadan Iftar Dinner, bringing together staff, community partners, and friends to celebrate the spirit of generosity and connection within our community. ✨

This year, proceeds from the event support the Child & Adolescent Mental Health Urgent Care Clinic (CAUCC), a program making a tangible difference for youth and families in our community. The evening was a powerful reminder of the impact we can make when we come together for an important cause.

We extend our sincere thanks to Imam Imran Ally for leading the congregational prayers, and to Dr. S. Zaki Ahmed, Tarek Elgammal, and Dr. Mohamad Sawwaf for their contributions to a memorable evening. We are also grateful for the generosity of our event sponsors: Deloitte, Islamic Relief Canada, and Aunty’s Kitchen.
