Join us on October 9, 2025, for an engaging live virtual workshop with Distinguished Professor Sharynne McLeod, Dr. Kate Margetson, and Dr. Helen L. Blake on Multilingual Children’s Speech Acquisition, Assessment, and Intervention.
Designed for SLPs working with multilingual children, this session will explore free resources to support speech development in 130+ languages and dialects, and introduce the evidence-based Speech Assessment of Children’s Home Language(s) (SACHL) protocol for assessing speech in unfamiliar languages.

🎓 Earn 0.25 ASHA CEUs while building your skills in culturally responsive assessment and intervention.

SSI is looking for Charitable Gaming Volunteers (18+) who can sign up for a 2-hour session every other month to assist with customer service at Rama Gaming House (Toronto East) in Scarborough. 🎰

Each session a volunteer attends helps SSI raise funds for our speech and stuttering therapy programs. This helps SSI keep our fees accessible so that more people can afford the therapy they need 😊 What a simple yet amazing way to give back to your community!

Responsibilities include: greeting people entering the gaming hall and handing out coffees.
