Terpene Tuesday 🌸

Terpinolenehas has a wonderful floral aroma that is associated with pine, clove, citrus, lemon,
and is often sweet, woody and fresh smelling! It is found in lilacs, nutmeg, cumin, tea tree oil, apples and parsnips.

Research has show that terpinolene may cause a sedating or calming effect on the body.

Fun fact: it can also be used as insect repellent 🦟

Did you know that the mindset that you're in and the setting in which you experience a cannabis product can have a changed affect on your cannabis experience as a whole?

You can consume the same cannabis product in the morning and in the evening and have a completely different outcome. Alternatively, you can consume the same cannabis product at home alone and in the park with friends and feel two separate ways.

Knowing this can help you to better predict how your body reacts in each set and setting, and learn how to optimize the cannabis experience that your body has!

Terpene Tuesday 🌿

Beta Caryophyllene is a terpene that has a spicy, woody and peppery smell. It is found in black pepper, cloves, cinnamon, hops, oregano, basil, cotton and more! Caryophyllene is the most dominant terpene in 30% of cannabis strains.

Essential oils containing beta-caryophyllene are often used for their warming, soothing, and focusing properties.

At Cori we love to enjoy drinks crafted from natural and plant-based ingredients. We hope that you enjoy this delicious creamy cbd cacao as much as we do! ☕️🍫⁠

Ingredients (Serves 1) ⁠
⁠
2-3 tbsp Cacao powder per mug ⁠
1 tsp of Vanilla ⁠
1 pinch of Sea Salt⁠
1-2 tbsp of Honey or Maple Syrup ⁠
Cinnamon ⁠
Oat Milk or Nut Butter to taste (optional for added creaminess) ⁠
CBD oil of your choice ⁠
⁠
Steps: ⁠
⁠
1. Blend all ingredients in a blender (minus the CBD oil) with a cup of boiled water ⁠
2. After blended, add recommended dose on the bottle of your CBD oil ⁠of choice ⁠
3. Mix in the CBD oil and whisk all ingredients together ⁠
4. Enjoy immensely and responsibly!⁠

Sativa vs. Indica 🌿⁠
⁠
Indica strains are native to cooler, more northern or mountainous climates. They’ve adapted to cold weather, so they have a shorter flowering period and tolerate frost better than Sativa strains. They have bushy, broad leaves and a high resin production in the dense and plump buds. Examples of landrace Indica strains include Hindu Kush and Afghani, both of which come from the Afghanistan region. ⁠

Sativa strains like Acapulco Gold (from Mexico) and Malawi (from Africa) are native to warmer climates usually found along the equator. The plants are tall, reaching higher than 1.5 meters, with thin, serrated leaves and airy and tall buds. Landrace Sativa strains have a long flowering period of about 10-16 weeks. ⁠
