Harmonious Homeopathy

A recent study sought to investigate the usefulness of classical homeopathy for the prevention of recurrent urinary tract infections (UTI) in patients with spinal cord injuries (SCI).

Participants were patients with chronic SCI and ≥3 UTI/year.

Interventions: Participants were treated either with a standardized prophylaxis alone or in combination with homeopathy.

Outcome measures: The number of UTI, general and specific quality of life (QoL), and satisfaction with homeopathic treatment were assessed prospectively for one year.

The findings: "Adjunctive homeopathic treatment led to a significant decrease of UTIs in SCI patients."

Dr Gary Smyth, President of the Faculty of Homeopathy, shared some incredible insights at the 100th Faculty of Homeopathy Congress in Edinburgh—a landmark event bringing together nearly 300 professionals from 30 countries!

Here’s what Dr Gary had to say:

Homeopathy is proving to be that “extra,” offering a holistic, patient-centered approach that complements modern medicine beautifully.
