Most university students worry about exams, not calculating their every movement.

For Chantal, every day is a balance of pain, fatigue, classes, and simply keeping up.

One of the hardest parts is living with a disease most people don’t understand.

“People think you get arthritis in your 60s or 70s. It’s not just an older person’s disease.”

Arthritis Action Now is making arthritis impossible to ignore — challenging myths and raising awareness so people like Chantal are seen, understood, and supported.

14 joint replacements. 1 year in a wheelchair. Months hospitalized.

This is arthritis at its most devastating.

Linda was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis more than 40 years ago after years of pain and being dismissed.

Nothing worked — until she fought for early access to a biologic. Within a week, she was home from the hospital, beginning to rebuild the body arthritis had nearly decimated.

Now, she’s turning her resilience into reform.

As founder and President of the Canadian Arthritis Patient Alliance, Linda is working with Arthritis Society Canada to advance Arthritis Action Now — pushing for policy change to transform arthritis care.

How far is the entrance? Are there stairs? Will I need to stop and rest?

If these questions are becoming part of your daily routine, it may be time to consider a mobility device.

Changes in mobility often happen gradually. It’s not always easy to notice the shift. It’s important to recognize the signs.

🔹Reaching for furniture to steady yourself
🔹Feeling hesitant or in crowds, on stairs or on uneven ground
🔹Swaying when standing still
🔹Shorter, shuffling steps

If you’re starting to notice these changes, it may be worth exploring what support is available ➡️ https://bit.ly/MedlineArthritisCare
