In this month’s Astrological Town Crier, Julie, Mikka, and I explore the profound shifts marked by Uranus’ entry into Gemini on *April 25, 2026*, completing a cycle of outer planets changing signs since 2023. We reflect on how this new configuration—Uranus, Pluto, Neptune, and Sedna in cooperative aspect—may signal not more catastrophe, but new possibilities for humane, collaborative solutions in a time of global crisis. Sedna’s myth of betrayal and respect becomes a powerful metaphor for our relationship with the environment and the dangers of relentless extraction versus genuine reciprocity.

We also consider the war, shifting geopolitical alliances, and the future of institutions like the *UN, suggesting that middle powers and new coalitions may become increasingly important. Finally, we turn to April’s **Full Moon in Libra* and *New Moon in Aries*, linking them to themes of resurrection, resilience, and the courage to “make another garden” even after destruction.

What happens in the space between what was and what’s emerging? This piece explores the tension, uncertainty, and quiet transformation that comes with Neptune’s shift into Aries — and how meaning is often found in the “in-between.”

✨ A thoughtful reflection for anyone navigating change, ambiguity, or a sense of becoming.

The latest Astrological Town Crier is now available. After a little delay - blame it on Mercury Rx - Julie, Mikka, and I were at it again, exploring the astrological landscape of today’s world.

We examined a turbulent astrological landscape shaped by the exact Saturn–Neptune conjunction at 0° Aries, framed as a collective “reset” that’s manifesting through confusion, instability, and escalating global conflict.

We linked current events to the 1989 Saturn–Neptune cycle, emphasising recurring historical patterns, propaganda, and leadership volatility.

We also delved deeply into the Mars square Uranus that triggered the February 17, 2026, solar eclipse, catalyzing sudden disruptions in resources and fuel, and the war

Amid chaos, we looked to the move of the last outer planet left to move into a new sign - Uranus into Gemini, and personal guidance toward cleanup, reflection, and grounded action.

“Mirror, mirror on the wall…” isn’t just a fairytale line — it’s a metaphor for how AI interacts with us. When we ask it what we already want to hear, it’s happy to reflect that back. But when we challenge it — exploring what we don’t see — that’s where deeper insight happens. ✨

Use AI to expand your understanding, not to confirm your comfort zone.

The phrase "soul-making" comes from the poet John Keats, who struggled with the world’s random and meaningless suffering, and believed that tragedies were the crucible in which the soul is forged and refined.

In Soul-Making: A Journey of Resilience and Spiritual Rediscovery, I write about how a series of events between 2009 and 2011 broke me. It could have been seen as meaningless, but the work that I did transformed this tragedy into a soul.

Part memoir, part self-help book, this is the deeply personal story of my soul-making journey, framed around the ideas of Carl Gustav Jung and spiritual practices.

AI is powerful — not because it knows, but because it reflects. It mirrors back the thoughts, assumptions, and stories we bring to it — sometimes reinforcing biases, sometimes revealing blind spots — but it never replaces the human work of discernment and inner guidance. 🤖🪞

The real value isn’t in the answers we get… it’s in what we learn about ourselves along the way.

February’s astrology isn’t subtle — it’s foundational.

In the latest Astrological Town Crier, we dive into a powerful cluster of transits:
✨ Uranus stationing
🌑 The New Moon eclipse
♄♆ And the rare Saturn–Neptune conjunction at 0° Aries

Together, they point to something larger than disruption — a moment where we’re quietly beginning to build the cathedral of a new era, often without fully realizing it.

If you’re feeling that sense of standing at a threshold, this conversation may help you name what’s unfolding.

The sky doesn’t exist in a vacuum — it mirrors the world we’re living in.

In our February Astrological Town Crier gathering, Astrologer Julie Simmons, moderator Mikka Hildebrand, and I explore how current transits reflect today’s turbulence — from Mark Carney’s “grown-up in the room” moment at Davos, to flashpoints in Minneapolis, to the deeper unraveling of the post-war rules-based order.

We looked at Carney’s chart, the UN charter, and the US chart to understand why this moment feels like an Emperor’s New Clothes reckoning — when illusions around power, borders, and values are falling away.

The outer life keeps records.
The inner life carries meaning.
