Our History
Uber Smiles is a mobile dental cleaning service. They are members of both the Canadian and Ontario Dental Hygienists Associations, hold CPR and first aid certification, and follow stringent standards set by the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario to ensure clients receive safe and comprehensive oral hygiene care. Mobile dental hygiene services allow easy access to dental care for people who are home-bound, immobile, or prefer having their dental cleaning done at home. Under previous legislation, a person who wanted their teeth cleaned by a dental hygienist would first have to be examined by a dentist. Now, a hygienist registered with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario, can obtain a special certification to provide tooth scaling, and other services, without permission from a dentist. Our goal is to make receiving preventative dental health treatment more accessible to all. Uber Smiles serves seniors, those with disabilities, First Nations communities, families with limited dental insurance, those without any dental benefits, and newcomers to Canada. Clients who face obstacles such as transportation, weather, traffic, booking support workers, and waiting in clinics can benefit from our mobile dental hygiene services. Free oral hygiene presentations and information seminars are available for seniors, businesses, schools, and families. Oral hygiene is crucial for good health. The cost of some procedures can be up to half of what is normally charged in a conventional dental clinic. Uber Smiles accepts all insurance plans.
