Are you looking to improve your posture? ⚙️📐
The Dumbbell Serrano Press is a great exercise that targets the trapezius, posterior rotator cuff and spinal extensor muscles.
The key with performing this exercise correctly is to position your mid chest off the end of the bench and position the arms in a U shape (both arms at your sides with a 90 degree bend).
Start by extending the spine and squeezing the shoulders together.
Then slowly extend the arms into a Y shape. With your arms straight, reach away with the arms to encourage more upward rotation of the shoulder whilst ensuring that you maintain an extended spinal position.
Pause for at least a few seconds at the end position before returning to the start position 😉

Nutrition & Portion Control: My Transformation Journey ✨💪

I’ve always loved food — chocolate, oats, granola, nut butters, baked goods, rice… you name it. For years I have always thought I should be in better shape considering how much I exercise.
However, I sometimes don’t have much control over my food and tend to overeat (especially when it’s right in front of me).
Being a numbers person, not knowing the calories made it easy to lose control.
📸 Left photo: Before tracking my nutrition. At this stage, I was still training 5–6x per week (3x weight training, plus squash and football).
📸 Right photo: After 3 months of consistently tracking calories, protein, and carbs. The results?
🔻 3% drop in body fat
🔻 5 lbs of fat lost
✅ Muscle maintained
This experience taught me the real power of portion control and structured nutrition — training hard is only part of the equation.
