Teachers like & Yvonne Farrell consistently motivate and inspire me, which is why in 2024 I made a promise to myself that in 2025 I’d learn from the source, Jeffery Yuen. And my goal has transpired and I now feel like I’m on the cusp of another unfolding of so much potential 💓

Vancouver, you’ve helped me step out of my shell a bit, reconnect with friends, make new friends and soak up all the learning 🤯🙌🏽💓

I’ve been putting off cleaning and conditioning my purse and as I pull out my tools, I’m struck that the majority of them were from my dad 🥺

I remember on a Sunday as a little kid he’d take out his shoes and start to clean and polish them with his old tunes playing. He’d always talk about how little he had as a kid & how important it was to take very good care of what you had 🇬🇾

So here I am, shedding a few grace tears for tending to my complicated emotions around my dad and starting the process of taking care of my purse. Healing really does come in all forms ❤️‍🩹

I don’t have a plethora of “happy” memories with my dad, BUT I used to love when he’d make cream of wheat and then remind me to add milk at the top to cool it off ✨

I have resisted doing that for decades when I make my oatmeal, but felt compelled to do so today. Can’t help but notice the little heart in the centre ❤️‍🩹

So I’ll share a thought I had last night … the last night I’d ever be 40 again ✨

It may not seem like an to you, but it was so profound for me (I actually stopped what I was doing and saw bits of my life flash before my eyes as I let the thought marinate):

💓 Life is as simple as a series of choices AND we have the choice to make a new choice if the original one wasn’t serving us.

Like waaaaaat??!? 🤯 I’m pretty sure it took me 40 years to learn that I DON’T have to see through to the end of every decision I make.

SO if you’re younger than 40, please take that lesson and flourish. If you’re my age and older and haven’t had this epiphany yet, hopefully this post saves you some time.

Because as a we do love sharing our efficiencies 😆

This week, what initially felt like a hurtful moment got me thinking about the following concept:

✨ What was my earliest memory I had that brought about the same feelings I felt when this recent event took place? What are the common themes?

✨ What parts of that event are mine to own and unpack, and what parts are for the other person to do their work on?

It truly has been so helpful to chew on these questions instead of stew in the story 🫶🏽

So ya, sh*tty things happen AND I can still smile because life will show up and provide moments for me to crumble under or evolve, and I quite like the concept of expansion 💓

It’s been less than 24 hours and as I reflect on the last 48 hours, I can only feel deep gratitude for graciously sharing her knowledge with us (and for patiently answering all my questions!) 💓

As a student at Naturopathic College, little time and to be frank, importance was given to this art 🫠

Then came who showed me first hand (no pun intended) how pulses can be a sacred insight into a person 🙏🏽

After a year of diving deeper & exploring pulses, this weekend has given me an opportunity to refine my skills, be utterly amazed at HOW diagnostic pulses can be, and continue my meditation on the emanation of the Spirit thru the pulses. Just WOW ✨
