Community is the pulse of Iyengar Yoga, and nothing nourishes it more than gathering together in a shared spirit of gratitude.

On Saturday June 21st, together with my dear friend, colleague, & fellow Po Teacher Jane Kruse, we are continuing our annual tradition of co-hosting an event to honour Iyengar Yoga Appreciation Day (IYAD).

IYAD is a national event coordinated by the Iyengar Yoga Association of Canada/Association Canadienne de Yoga Iyengar. Practitioners nationwide gather in their local communities to express their love and appreciation for Iyengar Yoga. This year it falls on International Yoga Day so we get to celebrate both 💜🙏💚.

& I are putting together a program highlighting rare archival footage of the Iyengar family. We hope you can join us! Light refreshments, friendly faces, and good times abound!

Studio Po is an Iyengar Yoga studio located in the Dupont & Symmington neighbourhood, just at the tip of the Junction Triangle. Our loft space is bright and spacious and fully equipped for your yoga needs. Whether you are curious about yoga, looking to develop strength and stability, or ready to take your existing practice to a new level, we have yoga classes for you. Our aim is to provide a welcoming atmosphere in which people can have fun practicing yoga in a safe yet challenging way.
