International Women's Day is a celebration. But it's also a reminder. ✨

A reminder that celebrating women and championing women are not the same thing.

Championing women means taking their health seriously. It means believing them when they say something is wrong. It means not making them wait years for a diagnosis, or leave appointments feeling more invisible than when they walked in.

Our latest blog post is for every woman who has ever been told her labs are normal while she feels anything but. For every woman who has been told it's just stress, just anxiety, just part of getting older.

Your symptoms are real. Your body is speaking. And you deserve someone who will actually listen.

A spot in our movement classes doesn’t come up often — and there’s a reason for that. ✨

Our members keep coming back. Session after session, they return because they’ve found something that actually works: small group classes designed and supported by our clinical team, where every movement is intentional, every modification is personal, and every woman in the room feels seen.

This isn’t a gym class. It’s evidence-based movement in a space where your form matters, your history matters, and the woman next to you becomes someone you genuinely look forward to seeing.

Spots for new members are rare — and early bird pricing ends TODAY.

Come experience the Body Co difference in any of our Signature classes:

✨Prenatal fitness
✨Postnatal fitness
✨Women’s strength training
✨ELDOA Pilates & Strength

The 3 Ps - Puberty, Pregnancy & Perimenopause

Otherwise known as the 3 times in a women's life when she feels least in control of her body, brain and emotions.

And while lady estrogen usually get the main character billing, cortisol is often overlooked and a big contributor. In fact it is one of the first things that Dr. Margot, ND, looks at when working with her patients to stabilize their hormones and start to feel at home again in their skin.

The good news is, with the right testing and some subtle shifts, finding a solution might not be as complex as you think.

Want to learn more?

Comment CORTISOL and we will drop her blog explaining the role of cortisol in times of hormonal shift and some of the clinical advice she shares with her patients.

Running is one of the more challenging activities for your pelvic floor - postnatal or not.

It’s not just about strength. It is also carefully coordinated and neurally driven.

So when it comes to getting women back to running, we don’t just go on gut feel. We have a battery of clinical tests that help us make sure or clients can get back to the activity they love safely and avoiding taking a step backwards.

Save this post so you can test yourself at home and for more details download our free Return to Running guide through the link in our bio.

February is Heart Health Month — and for women, heart health is about so much more than step counts or cardio minutes.

It is under reported but overly present.
It is individualized and ever changing with our biology.
It’s about how stress accumulates.
How hormones shift across motherhood and midlife.

At Body Co it is part of our mission to help our clients embrace how movement that protects our bodies, and our hearts, can be protective — not punishing.

Your body isn’t betraying you.

Body image struggles don’t always scream.
Sometimes they whisper—through control, anxiety, or disconnection.

This is especially true during times of transition like pregnancy, parenthood, aging and perimenopause when changes can leave you feeling disconnected with your body and appearance.

This February is Body Image Month and Registered Social Worker, Paula Fernandez, is talking about the quiet signs and how therapy can help you rebuild trust with your body—without shame, pressure, or perfection.

February is Heart Health Month — and for women, heart health is about far more than step counts or cardio classes. Cardiovascular disease remains the leading killer of women in Canada.

It’s shaped by stress.
By hormonal shifts across motherhood and midlife.
By how long you’ve been holding everything together.

While we love that strength training is having its moment, it is important not to neglect the cardiovascular training that protects our hearts. Movement is one of the most powerful tools we have to support cardiovascular health — not as punishment, but as protection.

Registered Massage Therapist and world class endurance athlete, April Boultbee knows about heart health. She's written a blog that breaks down:
• how movement supports women’s heart health
• why stress and hormones matter
• what evidence-based guidelines actually look like in real life
• and how to approach heart health without extremes or guilt
