Yep… that was me.�Physically and emotionally knocked down harder than I ever expected.
In 2012, my symptoms of core dysfunction showed up as a bladder prolapse. 💔�Devastating at the time — but it led me to what would completely change my understanding of the body: the Hypopressive technique.
After nearly 25 years in the fitness industry, I realized something huge…�Core training had been all abs.�🚫 No diaphragm�🚫 No pelvic floor�🚫 No multifidus
Just more pressure, more impact, more crunches.
I had flat abs — but a pelvic floor that couldn’t keep up.
My weak link?�An inability to distribute pressure evenly through the core canister, which ultimately shifted my structural integrity… and my bladder.
