Tummy tuck 🫱🏻‍🫲🏾 Liposuction

Tummy tuck (Abdominoplasty) surgery involves removing excess skin from around the stomach area.
Liposuction is a procedure to remove extra fat.

Let’s talk Breast Reductions 🎙️
▫️What is a OHIP covered Breast Reduction?

Ontario Health Insurance Plan Breast Reductions are a financially covered reduction procedure for patients who suffer pain and discomfort as a result of large, heavy and hanging breasts. OHIP will in this scenario cover the cost of the procedure for breast tissue removal.

▫️How can you apply for a OHIP funded Breast Reduction?

Step 1: Consult with your Family Dr and request a referral to a Plastic Surgeon
Step 2: Consult with surgeon, admin will apply on your behalf for OHIP coverage
Step 3: Wait for the final decision from the government on whether your coverage has been approved ✔️
Step 4: Book surgery

◽️What are the ‘extras’ in a Breast Reductions?

With OHIP Breast Reductions, coverage is given only for the removal of breast tissue, not to provide an aesthetic result .
To form your new breasts into a natural shape and sculpt them to your breast wall and arm pit, liposuction is required. During your consult, Dr Jalil will explain these areas and provide a quote.

One other unique option patients are given at our clinic that Dr Jalil is a master at is Auto Augmentation. A process in which the Dr will re use the tissue he has removed by moving it under the breast as a natural implant. This gives the illusion of a fuller breast whilst simultaneously lifting and reducing the overall breast size. *This option is not possible for all patients, during your assessment Dr Jalil will review and provide a surgical plan that’s best for you.

◽️Who is not suitable for a OHIP covered Breast Reduction?

Patients with less volume but with low hanging breasts are usually not able to apply for a breast reduction through OHIP.

Our lovely patient here has had a Tummy tuck, paired with flank liposuction as well as upper abdominal liposuction. We added the liposuction to really carve out her natural curves whilst removing the excess skin to reveal what was there all along, a confident woman. ✨👏🏽

Sometimes the results just speak for themselves!

For this patient, I paired a breast lift and augmentation with a tummy tuck and contouring liposuction for very harmonious and natural looking results. She is already looking fantastic at this stage of the healing process, her incision will fade and results will only continue to improve.

Gynecomastia surgery is often relatively straightforward while offering men with excess breast tissue a huge boost in confidence. 💪

The surgical technique will vary depending on your starting point and goals; I typically use liposuction contouring sometimes paired with the excision of glandular tissue. Most patients can get back to their everyday activities the day after surgery.

The tightening and sculpting effects of a tummy tuck with me were the basis of this patient’s hourglass-shaping results. I also performed a lower body lift and liposuction with fat transfer to the glutes and hip dips to complement her shape.

Abdominoplasty comes in all shapes and sizes!

This patient was already quite petite, but was bothered by the distension of her abdomen being caused by muscle separation (diastasis) that had lingered after pregnancy. I combined a muscle repair with C-section scar modification for this simple, elegant wow result.

When the natural, gorgeous silhouette of your waist and hips is being hidden by excess tissue, liposuction and abdominoplasty can be an amazing way to restore beautiful curves in a way that complements your natural shape.

For this patient I tightened and smoothed out the abdominal area with a tummy tuck and used liposuction to get rid of unwanted fat on the flanks. This patient is walking away feeling fantastic about her newly contoured shape!
