I don't even know where my old one is 🤭

My feed is busy enough as it is, thank you✌️
It's nice to have followers, but I only want people here who actually want to be here 😌

Maybe I should start a series 🤔
In all seriousness, these poses are a lot more accessible than you think with an intentionally guided class that activates and puts the body into positions that will feel familiar and better prepared for when the "advanced" poses are approached ✌️

The thought patterns and a tale as old as time that held me back from transformation ✌️

If you’re a yoga teacher who:
- finished your training but don’t know your next steps
- didn’t get enough real teaching experience during your YTT
- feel like you’ve “fallen off” and don’t know how to come back
I want you to hear this:
You’re not alone, and you’re not behind.
One of the biggest things I see working with instructors is this gap between
getting certified and feeling confident with teaching.
And most teachers don’t need more information. They need practice, guidance, and support.
If you’ve been sitting on your certification wondering what to do next, this is your invitation to step back in.

I'm offering a limited founders rate for my upcoming 3-month mentorship program. Apply through the link in my bio!

Courage supercedes confidence ✌️

Although it's important to have a plan, what's more important is to not get too attached to your original plan, treating it like a word-for word script. When teaching in a group setting, you'll often have to accommodate:
-Newer students
-Injuries
-General capabilities of practitioners
-Their emotional experiences
-Disruptions
-Time
-Fill in the blank_____

What's most important is to hold space for the people who dedicated their personal time to be with you. They don't know what you had originally planned, but they'll remember how you made them feel. Watch the room and teach for them, not for your ego. Let them feel seen ✌️

I felt so loved today, as many people wished me a happy birthday! I walked into like any other usual Thursday evening to lead my block of 4 classes. I could have booked the time off but decided not to. The truth is, this place has been my second home for many years now. What a privilege it is to be able to do what I love, surrounded by a wonderful group of people.
Reflecting on the current and past people from this place who have been influential, supportive, and an absolute joy to be with. This video was created on my birthday 4 years ago by and I'll never forget how special she made me feel ❤️

This photoshoot happened almost 2 years ago.

At the time, I was putting it off for years. I didn't feel ready. I had ideas of how I wanted to look and didn't want to showcase myself until I achieved that. My personal practice took a hit for a long time as I kept saying "yes" to serve others, leaving my body constantly fatigued.

The reality is, I would've never felt ready. I will always see a flaw. Chasing perfection is like running towards the horizon. At the time, I reminded myself of the messaging that I often mention to clients: "Come as you are." When I say this, I mean it. How could I encourage others of these words and yet not apply that messaging to myself? This was a reminder of how important embodiment is. Leading not through words but living by example.

So many great shots came from this day, and I thank for capturing what she saw as beautiful. Surrounding yourself with people who support your vision can reaffirm that showing up as you are is enough.

In addition to an out of the ordinary weekend, I was met with a situational conversation/circumstance that became mentally and emotionally exhausting.
It took me years to learn that if a self-destructive person cannot take care of themselves and expects me to carry their weight, it's ok to say NO.
My kindness is not an invitation to be taken advantage of, nor am I responsible for fixing the problems of someone who won't help themselves.
A reminder for anyone else who may be reading this post ✌️
Today was a time to rest and reset, reflect, and ignore work, guilt-free 😊
