👉Cervical radiculopathy is a condition where a nerve root in the neck (cervical spine) becomes compressed or irritated, leading to symptoms that radiate from the neck into the shoulder, arm, or hand.
✅ What’s actually considered best practice?
Clinical guidelines generally prioritize:
1. Targeted physiotherapy exercise
Neck mobility + strengthening (deep neck flexors)
Postural correction (very important)
Scapular stabilization
2. Manual therapy
Joint mobilization
Soft tissue work
3. Education & activity modification
Avoid aggravating positions
Ergonomic changes (desk, phone use)
4. Class 4 laser therapy and Spinal decompression therapy (as an adjunct)
Can be helpful when added to exercise—not alone.
