Join us for a rejuvenating wellness day of personal self-care and nurture your inner creativity with Nicole Levy and Rani Glick.

Release, Nourish, Evolve. is dedicated to cultivating the mind and body for Winter resilience!

In the fall, we leave behind the relaxed and expansive attitudes of summer and adapt to the more serious, and introspective energies of fall. Here, we will explore

- Release the stagnant energies of what we hold onto,
- Nourish vital energy to make room for new experiences,
- Evolve with new ideas to learn and grow of what will be coming your way

Nicole and I apply a mindfulness healing framework to support our clients that we will share at this event.

Whether you're wanting to release stress, find inner peace, or unleash your creativity, this event has something for you. Bring a friend if you like and share the day together!

Lunch is included

How do you take a break from your activities, tasks or work during the day?

I usually want a change of place or create a break from what I was doing for the past two hours. By habit, I go to the refrigerator to eat something which I'm trying to break so I'll walk my dog to redirect my focus, do a qigong movement, or some deep breathing or go out to the garden and take a look around.

Taking a break by moving your body or deep breathing in meditation is a great way to relax the mind and body.

Join me for PRACTICE TOGETHER on Tuesdays at 6:00 pm, and Thursdays at 10:00 am in movement and meditation.

On Tuesdays, for the first 25 minutes, we practice qigong movement sitting and standing following with a meditation for 25 minutes.

Qigong is an ancient health practice that originated in China some 3000+ years ago. It includes slow, graceful, movements synchronized with the breath to relax the mind into a calm state. It also helps to improve mental focus, and prevents as well as treats ill health and disease.

On Thursdays, we practice Somatic movement to release stress from the body and improve posture, alignment and functionality (from injury, stress or overuse).

This week's somatic movement session, we will focus on the feet and pushing the toes. Here we integrate the whole body in exploratory movements of the toe, knee, pelvis, back and shoulders. Can you imagine how the toes can impact the whole body without standing?

I look forward to practicing together

Yesterday I did a somatic movement session with a colleague and it gently regulated my nervous system. The mental noise and body aches just melted away allowing my posture to settled into a grounded alignment.

Somatic movement has the ability to realign the body and transform your stress into strength with calm and mental clarity.

Join me every Thursday at 10:00 am for a somatic lesson.

This week we will explore a series of movements to open up the chest and hips from the habituated stance of the red light reflex. Many of us (including myself) stand or walk with shoulders hunched forward and hips tucked under.

This is often a response to a trauma, injury or from overused body posture to how we naturally hold ourselves. Often it causes us pain or the beginnings of hunched shoulders and dropped neck and head. As we age, these postures become habituated.

To free yourself of this posture and pain, somatic movement offers gentle and slow movement sequences which can realign your posture and release stress from those areas. Each lesson focuses on different regions of the body
Check out my blog post The Power of Somatics on website.

Most movements are done lying down on the back, side or front.

Use a yoga mat or lie on a comfortable carpet and if possible, adjust your computer so I can see you do the movements.

You're two visits are FREE!

We meet virtually on zoom so you can join us from wherever you are!

Unlocking the Power of Mindfulness: Stress Reduction and Somatic Movement

🌀 Embracing the Flow: Mindfulness Meets Movement 🧘‍♂️💫
Embark on a journey where breath, meditation, and movement intertwine to release stress and awaken body awareness

We don’t have to look far to find things to be stressed out about. From wars on other shores to conflicts here at home, price increases and taxes, there is no shortage of issues that can be stressful for us.

We are built for stress. Stress is simply a reaction to any type of change, be it positive or negative, expected or not. Stress is good for us. It motivates us and protects us against danger that we encounter. If we have too little stress in our lives, we may become lethargic, passive, and unmotivated. Stress kept our ancestors alive, allowing them to run from threats and find new places to dwell. when it becomes constant is when our body and mind suffer.

Join me today, Monday March 25th at 7:30 pm EST, for Eating Mindfully Together.

Our topic is Integrating Mindful Eating When Dining With People.

One of the most challenging times when eating with others is the feeling of disconnecting to our body sensations while being in conversation with people.

How can you keep focused on your relationship to food in those situations. we get carries away with all the choices and let go.

Get the link in the first comment box to register for our session.

Eating Mindfully together, we chat, meditate, laugh, play, eat and discover how “being” can calm the mind and body from "doing" to better nourish your relationship with food.

Eating together is based on selections from FEED THE BRAIN: A mindful eating approach to nourishing the body, heart and mind.
