This year’s is all about empathy.
The CMHA National / ACSM National is reminding us that when times are tough, we need to be there for each other. We can do this by practicing empathy. Our world has faced a common problem: we’ve living together through a long and grueling pandemic. The virus came for all of us. While it has left its mark on some more than others, it’s clearer now that we’re as much the same as we are different. Empathy might, in fact, be the silver lining to all of this: whatever our circumstances, it’s clear that we all need to feel seen and heard.
So, it’s time to about how to help your loved ones by visiting https://cmha.ca/ for more resources. You don’t always need to solve their problems. Understanding is a solution on their own.
