🔍 Spotlight on the CASTER
The George Hull Centre’s CASTER (Child and Adolescent Screener for Traumatic Events and Response) is a trauma screening tool that helps mental health professionals identify children and youth who may have experienced trauma—early in the assessment process.
Developed with input from youth, families, and trauma experts, the CASTER supports trauma-informed care by identifying children who may need further evaluation or support. It’s used in a variety of settings, from outpatient clinics to preschool programs.
