Left-Side Epley Maneuver For Vertigo (Home Version)
Preparation: Sit upright on your bed with a pillow behind you. The pillow should be positioned so that when you lie down, it supports your shoulders and lets your head hang slightly back.

Turn: Turn your head 45 degrees to the left.

Lie Back: Quickly lie back so your shoulders are on the pillow and your head is reclined on the bed. Keep your head turned to the left. Wait 30–60 seconds until the spinning stops.

Rotate: Without lifting your head, rotate it 90 degrees to the right (so you are now looking 45 degrees to the right). Wait 30–60 seconds.

Roll: Roll your entire body onto your right side. Your head should follow, so you are now tucked and looking down toward the floor. Wait 30–60 seconds.

Sit Up: Slowly sit up from the side of the bed.

Not all chiropractic care is the same—and you shouldn’t have to settle for less… 🚫

If your goal is real, long-term relief, it’s important to recognize when care isn’t meeting that standard. Here are a few signs to be mindful of:

**Quick, rushed visits:** If your appointment feels like a fast in-and-out adjustment, key aspects of your health—like lifestyle, posture, stress, and daily habits—are likely being overlooked. Recovery is never one-dimensional.

**Routine X-rays without reason:** Imaging shouldn’t be a default step. Unless there’s a clear clinical need, it can be unnecessary and outdated practice.

**Push for long-term packages:** Be cautious of being locked into expensive plans upfront. Your care should evolve based on your progress—not a fixed schedule decided on day one.

**Passive-only treatment:** Adjustments can help, but they’re not a complete solution. Without active rehab—like strengthening, mobility, and education—results often don’t last.

**One-size-fits-all approach:** Your body is unique. If everyone is getting the exact same treatment plan, chances are it’s not truly personalized care.

**The bigger picture:** True healing happens when treatment goes beyond temporary relief and focuses on empowering you with the tools to stay pain-free.

Choose care that listens, adapts, and works *with* you—not just on you. 💡✨

As a chiropractor I often get this question How can I self-adjust myself? But your “self-crack” isn’t actually an adjustment. 🙅‍♂️🦴
It’s funny how the “relief” of a self-crack can be so addictive...

Cracking your own back might feel like a quick “fix,” but it’s usually doing more harm than gold. Here is why:

The Endorphin Trap: That “pop” releases feel-good chemicals that mask pain temporarily, but the underlying issue remains.

Targeting the Wrong Spot: You usually crack the joints that are already loose (hypermobile). The actual “stuck” joint stays locked, while the ones around it get overstretched.

The Vicious Cycle: Overstretching your ligaments leads to instability. Your muscles then tighten up even more to protect your spine, making you feel like you “need” to crack it again.

Safety First: Forceful, random twisting—especially in the neck—risks pinched nerves, muscle spasms, or worse.

Feeling the urge to crack all day? It’s time for a real adjustment.

Even your chiropractor needs a cracking 😂 Nobody is immune.
Even we need a reset sometimes.

Cupping + Soft Tissue Release + Resistance Training = The ultimate recovery combo. We use negative pressure to mobilize fascia, release tight tissue, and then load the muscle through range for the best results 💪
