I am excited to announce that Alyssa is taking on the role of Studio Manager!

As she approaches her fourth anniversary at the studio, I am excited about this opportunity for her (and for me!).

Many of you know Alyssa as a dedicated RMT who has been an integral part of the studio. From the beginning, she has shown a keen interest in building her practice in the community and developing her skills as an RMT while taking initiative with admin tasks to help me ensure things run smoothly.

If you’ve met Alyssa, you know her passion for wellness, commitment to our community, and warm, welcoming nature make her the perfect fit to support our team and clients in this leadership role.

Currently, there’s a maximum of TWO bookings available per client. This helps us prioritize those on treatment plans or dealing with acute injuries. We understand many of you are eager to use your benefits before year-end, but this policy ensures we can care for everyone who needs us. 🤝

Alex brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her practice. With an Honours Bachelor degree in Psychology and a diploma in the Assaulted Women’s and Children’s Counsellor and Advocate program, Alex integrates her mental health and counselling expertise with her knowledge and skills in hands-on treatment of soft tissues and joints. This unique combination allows her to offer massage therapy that is both holistic and highly effective.

Alex strives to create a trauma-informed, body-neutral, and trans-inclusive environment as all bodies deserve dignified care.

Already a friend of our studio, Alex will be joining us in September. You can find her on the schedule for Tuesday and Thursday afternoons and alternating Sundays.

We are excited to have Alex join our crew and look forward to the positive impact she will bring to our team and clients!

🌟 Exciting News! 🌟

Our dear Kelsey is about to start a beautiful new chapter—she’s having a baby! 🎉 While we’ll certainly miss her energy and expertise at the studio, we’re thrilled for her and Liam as they welcome their little one into the world. 💖

Her schedule is still open for the first couple of weeks in August, so make sure to book your sessions soon if you’d like to catch her before she takes some well-deserved time off.

We have another RMT that has recently joined us. Alycia Ho comes to us by way of Edmonton where she had been practicing massage for a couple of years before moving to Toronto.

In the photos with Alycia is Sam, her loyal companion, who joins her to explore the trails. Alycia is also a certified yoga and meditation instructor. Her yoga practice keeps her grounded and mentally fit so she can show up with a calm and centered mindset.

Her caring and keen nature offers a therapeutic yet relaxing experience.
