PARTICIPANTS NEEDED FOR A MOBILE/TABLET VALIDATION BRAIN HEALTH ASSESSMENT STUDY

This assessment is designed to detect subtle cognitive changes associated with aging and takes approximately 15 to 30 minutes to complete. You will complete the assessment twice: once on the first day and again one week later, preferably on a mobile/tablet, or on a desktop/computer for the second session. Alternatively, a one-session study is available for those who only have access to a desktop/computer, to help further validate the desktop version of the assessment.

To be eligible to participate in the Cogniciti Mobile/Tablet Validation Study you must:

- Be between the ages of 20-35, 50-65 or 80-95
- Be fluent in English

- Have access to a mobile/tablet and/or a computer
- Be comfortable using a mobile or tablet and/or a computer and have internet access

Over the past few weeks, Cogniciti had the pleasure of connecting with communities across Ontario through a series of engaging Brain Health Workshops, offered in collaboration with Baycrest Academy for Research and Education.

📍We recently hosted sessions at Filipino Centre Toronto in Scarborough, Hillsview Activity Centre in Acton, and Applegrove Community Complex in Toronto, where older adults had the opportunity to explore their cognitive health in a supportive and educational environment.

🖥️Each workshop featured Cogniciti’s free, evidence-based Brain Health Assessment, developed by leading neuroscientists to screen for changes in memory and thinking. Participants also received a presentation on key strategies to help support brain health and reduce dementia risk through manageable lifestyle changes.

💬Our team members had the opportunity to speak one-on-one with participants about their Brain Health Assessment scores, share evidence-based strategies for maintaining and improving brain health, and introduce the free tools and resources available through Cogniciti and Baycrest.

📊Attendees also used our Smart Tracker Tool to reflect on their habits around sleep, nutrition, exercise, cognitive and social engagement, and emotional well-being — key pillars for lifelong brain health. Everyone went home with a Brain Health Booklet full of practical, research-based tips to support healthy aging.

A heartfelt thank you to The Slaight Family Foundation for their continued support in bringing these valuable resources to community centres across the region.
