HELLO SUBSTACK; GOODBYE CONSTANT CONTACT NEWSLETTERS
I'm giving up Constant Contact and the 16-hour stress each month that the monthly newsletter gives me. It's just not worth it to me and Constant Contact template is breaking down and becoming more and more glitchy. I find it simpler and satisfying to post things one by one in Substack. Some posts are commentaries on trends. Most posts are about new products I've created, or listed, or made a fresh batch of.
I am prepared to lost many subscribers. Truth is, although I have extremely high open rates, I've never seen more than one or two orders with items I've promoted in the monthly newsletter. I'm communicating, it seems, but to no purpose. Subscribers seem interested in news about me and Anarres people. I hope that the new Substack format hits home.
I have not yet figured out how to send something akin to a newsletter or digest through Sunstack, but I've poked around the options, and Substack suits me. I tried Ghost, and loved how it looked, but it did not offer advantages and was going to cost me the same as Constant Contact did.
What subscribers CAN do is search my Substack https://anarres.substack.com/ for topics that interest them, or peruse it from latest post to less recent. For now, all written posts are free, and I plan to take paid subscribers later and offer videos and podcasts. Basically, I need to be bribed with money to do my hair.
I am a Certified Natural Health Practitioner, and I offer handmade natural cosmetics, aromatherapy, and cosmetic-making supplies. Click to read Tracey TieF's Anarres Natural Health, a Substack publication. Launched a month ago.
