We’re asking our team a few fun questions to get to know them better.

Meet Yana! Known for bringing the upbeat and positive energy to every class and being your biggest hype woman. Let’s see what she has to say 👀⬇️

1: 💬 “What inspired you to become a fitness/yoga instructor?”
🧘🏼‍♀️I started teaching yoga right after finishing my yoga teacher training in 2016. I never intended to teach, I was just curious as to how and why yoga was such a powerful technology that changed my life so drastically. Once I spent time learning the yoga philosophy and how it works - I felt like there was no way that I could NOT share the magic of yoga with everyone else!

2:🌿 “What’s your favorite way to move or unwind outside of class?”
💃I dance as a somatic practice. To feel deeper, to work through emotions, to alchemize feelings. I practice ecstatic dance. It is a modality that allows me to shift from one emotional state to another so fast. For example when I am feeling intense anger, sadness, really anything - I dance it out. I move it out of my body. I transform it into something else - compassion, understanding & kindness for myself, gratitude, joy. Emotions are energy in motion and they are meant to be MOVED and shifted.

3:💡 “What’s one piece of advice you always share with your students?”
💭“Come back to awareness”
It’s the only piece of yogic philosophy that has saved me :)

4: 🎧 “What’s one song or music type that always gets you in the zone?”
🎤Any of my ecstatic dance songs that allow me to feel and move me.

5: 😋 “What’s your favorite thing to eat after a class or workout?”
🍽️ I usually teach a block of 2-3 classes so by the time I get home I’m starving. My partner usually has a delicious pizza or some other giant vegan feast prepared for lunch or dinner. I’m very lucky. 🍕🥗🌮🥪🌯

6: What’s your favorite class to teach🔥
💪🏼Hatha yoga/Deep stretch and Fast & Furious. I love to either go hard or slow down completely. I’m all or nothing.

1. Why did you start teaching? 🧘🏼‍♀️
💬 I did my Yoga Teacher training to deepen my personal practice and learn body healing techniques. Teaching happened as a gradual process as I started sharing my knowledge with family & friends and they encouraged me to teach professionally!

2. Outside the studio…what’s your favourite way to unwind?🚶🏼‍♀️
🌿 I like to go for nice sweaty jogs in nature with my headphones on 🏃!

3. Words to live by 🧠
💡 Our bodies feel different everyday and it’s very important to honor and acknowledge that and move accordingly to get the best out of it!

Meet Tennille! Our Pilates and Barre queen. Let’s see what she has to say 👀⬇️

1. Why did you start teaching? 🧘🏼‍♀️
💬 I was inspired to become a fitness instructor because of the benefits I’ve experienced through moving my body. I NEED to move, and I love that I can assist others to feel good in their bodies and to develop a healthy mind and body connection.

2. Outside the studio… 🚶🏼‍♀️
🌿 My favourite way to unwind outside of class is long walks with a good podcast.

3. Words to live by 🧠
💡 I encourage my students to listen to their bodies. They are the real experts on their abilities, and I want them to listen and trust what they feel.

4. Music check 🎶
🎧 The type of music I like is across the spectrum. I’ll swing a Taylor Swift, Tiko Tiko, Leon Bridges, Lonis and Bishop Briggs Playlist, topped with a little Barry Can’t Swim, to get me in the zone.

5. Go-to post-class snack? 🍌
😋 Love a sliced up avocado with hot sauce and a sprinkle of salt

6. 🔥What’s your favorite class to teach?
💪🏼 Barre. Seeing the shifts in my students posture and alignment, even after only five minutes into the class, is incredibly satisfying.

Meet Lauren Di Lorenzo! Her mission is to enhance your radiance through holistic healing practices. Let’s see what she has to say 👀⬇️

1. Why did you start teaching? 🧘🏼‍♀️
💬 To help with my own mental health in my early 20s as I was struggling with adult acne, my practice helped clear my mind and body. As a former dancer, I also wanted to da new ‘thing’! Fun Fact: I did my training in Rishikesh, India

2. Outside the studio… 🚶🏼‍♀️
🌿 I love unwinding with walks around the city. Unwinding for me is also energizing! Dance, karaoke, public speaking even — if there’s a stage this theatre kid is there. ✨

3. Words to live by 🧠
💡 Have fun — having fun is one of the most spiritual things you can do 😉

4. Music check 🎶
🎧 We KNOW I’m all about a good playlist and curate my own for each class. I love tropical house, R&B, and even a classical score for cool down time.

5. Go-to post-class snack? 🍌
😋 A lot of times after I teach on Sundays I go to my family’s house and have a huge plate of pasta and meatballs lol — Italian fuel.

6. 🔥What’s your favorite class to teach?
💪🏼 I can’t choose between freedom flow and yin. They are both part of me — the upbeat fun flow and the zen, clam meditative vibe.

Meet Aldrin Mathew! Always coming in with amazing energy and a big smile. Let’s see what she has to say 👀⬇️

1. Why did you start teaching? 🧘🏼‍♀️
💬 Movement has always been a part of my life—from ice skating to dance. Teaching felt like a natural extension of that love. Yoga and Pilates helped me heal, reconnect, and feel truly aligned. I teach to share that feeling with others to help them feel powerful, grounded, and free.

2. Outside the studio… 🚶🏼‍♀️
🌿 I love meditating, going for walks, dancing, and listening to motivational podcasts or videos. It keeps my mind inspired and my spirit calm. Movement and mindfulness are my go-to reset tools.

3. Words to live by 🧠
💡 “Come back to your breath.” Whether you’re on the mat or moving through life, it’s the anchor that brings you back to yourself.

4. Music check 🎶
🎧 Chill house, deep beats, or a little Beyoncé always get me in the zone. The vibe changes depending on the flow!

5. Go-to post-class snack? 🍌
😋 A creamy smoothie with banana, peanut butter, protein, and oat milk. Quick, delicious, and grounding.

6. 🔥What’s your favorite class to teach?
💪🏼My favorite classes to teach are Pilates and yoga, I love how they are a perfect blend of strength and mindfulness. I also love teaching the hot 20/20/20 format, which brings together cardio, strength, and stretch in one energizing, balanced session.
