Papaya Yogurt Boat

I have been going through a papaya phase lately and today I woke up with a craving for a yogurt filled papaya kinda breakfast.

Ingredients used:

Papaya ( scoop out the seeds and save them to add into a smoothie)
High protein Yogurt (plain)
Kiwi 🥝
Blueberries 🫐
Grain free granola

For added protein, you can drizzle some almond butter

Do you struggle with feeling hungry all the time?

I have been on prednisone for 30 years - yes you read that right!

I was always hungry and that was very uncomfortable and frustrating.

I started looking into fiber rich foods and began incorporating them into my daily life and definitely feel a difference.

Fiber rich food sources change everything.

Also, please ensure you are drinking plenty of water as you increase your fiber.

OMEGA- 3 FATTY ACIDS & INFLAMMATION ⬇️
Omega-3 fatty acids are a vital component of the diet as they can reduce inflammation and keep the body healthy.
People should bear in mind that the balance of Omega-3 and Omega-6 in the body plays a role in preventing inflammation.
In addition to increasing their Omega-3 intake, people should limit their consumption of foods higher in Omega-6.
Foods that are typically high in Omega-6 fatty acids include processed foods, sugar, certain oils like canola, nuts, seeds and meat. These should be reduced as they drive disease.
I recommend 3 portions of oily fish a week, a handful of nuts and seeds a day and swapping out conventional cereals and perhaps try eating pasture raised eggs and oatmeal with sprinkled chia and h**p seeds to increase your Omega-3 fatty acids.

Sources of Omega-3 Fatty Acids:⬇️

2. Salmon
3. Oysters
4. Sardines
5. Shrimp
6. Trout
7. Seawood
8. Chia seeds
9. H**p seeds
10. Flaxseeds
11. Walnuts
12. Avocados
13. Olives
14.Cod liver oil •
Omega-3 fatty acids have many benefits for our brain and cardiovascular health.

•Support a healthy brain and improve cognition & learning •Reduce inflammation
•Improve joint health
•Support eye health
•Promote healthy hair & skin
•Support immune health •Reduce risk of heart disease

A 150g serving of salmon equate to about 1.8 of combined DHA & EPA.
This would be a sufficient amount to maintain general health.

For those of us who suffer from chronic pain w/ joint or arthritis, in my case, studies have shown that up to 8g of Omega-3 may be required to reduce inflammation.
You can try supplements however, its important to get a good quality fish oil that has been independently tested to assess their oxidation levels, pesticides, heavy metals & also the concentrations of EPA & DHA.
I use fish oil in my smoothies daily.

🚨💥Anti-inflammatory Meal💥🚨

📍Grass Fed Beef with onions & mushrooms

Did you know that the foods you eat not only affect your physical body but also your spiritual body.
Every food you eat has an energy frequency and depending on what you eat can either bring you up to a high energy vibration or low energy vibration.
You decide: Apple 🍎 vs potato chips 🍟

When choosing meat⬇️
Organic/Grass-Fed/ pasture raised : If possible, choose organic or grass-fed, as they offer better nutrient profiles.

To ensure ethical treatment and humane slaughter, look for the following certifications and practices:
Certified Humane: A trusted certification ensuring high welfare standards (e.g., Beretta Farms).

Raised Without Antibiotics (RWA): Animals are never given antibiotics or added hormones

✅️Grass Fed beef- I added sea salt, black pepper, cumin & garlic

✅Kale: I steamed the Kale in some pure filtered water with some sea salt & then once steamed, I added a drizzle of EVOO.

✅Sweet Potato- I baked them in the oven at 450°

✅ NOT SHOWN: its important to have fermented food daily. Sauerkraut: Sauerkraut, or fermented cabbage, is loaded with vitamins C and K, iron and fiber, and naturally contains healthy gut bacteria called probiotics By eating foods like sauerkraut, we enhance the health of our digestive system by optimizing our gut and balancing our gut microbiome(not shown)

*Make sure to buy sauerkraut in the fridge.

✳Choose organic vegetables, oils, herbs & spices when possible to reduce your toxic load.

A simple balanced meal with protein~ complex carbohydrates ~ healthy fats

⚠️Chemicals are everywhere⚠️🚫, INCLUDING YOUR HOME! We unknowingly surround ourselves with harmful chemicals in our cleaning supplies, foods, beauty products and so much more.
The average household contains 62 different types of toxic chemicals in CLEANING SUPPLIES ALONE.
Commercial oven cleaners like "easy off"🧯 are full of chemicals and carcinogens that pose huge health risks when inhaled.🥽💨
A study that was done by the department of clinical science at the University of Bergan discovered that people who work as cleaners or have done household cleaning for 20 years have reduced lung function equivalent to smoking 20 ci******es a day, for the same period of time.😬🚬🚫
The small particles from the sprays can remain in the air for hrs after cleaning.
They also can travel deep into the lungs and cause infections, and aging of lungs.
Anyone w/ ongoing respiratory issues should switch to all-natural cleaning products. You dont have to sacrifice your lungs for a clean home- oven.

Homemade Oven Cleaner 💎

1/4 cup dish soap
1/2 cup lemon juice
1 cup vinegar

One of my passions is providing my community with healthy and inspirational recipes, nutrition facts, helpful, hacks and more. 😊

Most people dont know this about me but I always carry a thermal bag with me in my car filled with healthier snacks, filtered water, my plant based milk and raw honey ( which I use to add to my tea or coffee)

Today, I am making this green goddess smoothie to take with me.

Im headed to a conference today.

On another note, Packing for mini getaways is alot of work especially when you are following a holistic lifestyle . It used to be very difficult finding gluten free or organic products in the smaller towns, we are in a much better place today.

Some healthy snack ideas are fresh fruit, organic popcorn, olives, granola bars and dark chocolate 🍫

Here is the recipe for this green smoothie:⬇️

POWER GREEN GODDESS PROTEIN SMOOTHIE 💚

🥭1/2 cup frozen mango
🍌1 Banana
🌱1 cup baby organic spinach
2 tbsp h**p seeds
1/4 cup pumpkin seeds
1 cup almond or cashew mylk

Blend all the ingredients together and pour into a glass mason jar.

This powerful is the perfect morning pick me up!
13 grams of plant powered protein and 9 grams of fiber, this blended breakfast smoothie makes for a perfect nutritious start to any day.
