Today's STAR is the LEMON 🍋⬇️

Lemons are on my green light foods to reducing inflammation naturally

📌Here are some health benefits:

🍋Anti-inflammatory

🍋Full of antioxidants - high in vitamin C

🍋Aids in digestion

🍋Boosts your immune system

🍋Regulates blood sugar

🍋Lowers blood pressure

🍋Rejuvenates the skin

My morning routine starts off with warm lemon water.

How to make warm lemon water:

Heat water: Bring a cup of water to a gentle boil.

Squeeze lemon: Add half a lemon's juice to the hot water. ( choose organic lemons) why? it minimizes exposure to potentially harmful pesticides and chemicals used in conventional lemon farming.

Add raw honey (optional): For added sweetness and flavor, you can add a teaspoon of raw honey.

Stir and enjoy: Stir the mixture well and enjoy it while still warm.

You can add a couple slices of raw ginger and mint as well.

📌Do this daily, right when you wake up, and wait 30 minutes after you drink it before eating anything.🖐

Let's help out our liver to flush out all it's hard work from the night before.

2026 Being List ✨️💫🧘‍♀️🥰

For me, 2026 isnt about doing more, hustling more, or putting more demands, expectations and pressure on myself, and it shouldn't be that for you either.

Instead, 2026 will be more about being myself with pure intention.
Doing things that support more of who I am and who I am becoming.

I am choosing actions that feel aligned, sustainable and deep rooted.

How about you?

How do you want to show up each day?

Here are some of my commitments on how I want to show up everyday - perhaps you might feel it might help you too.

✔️Act in alignment with my values

✔️I want to move with purpose without the rush

✔️Nourish before I produce

✔️Set boundaries with compassion for myself and others

✔️Tend to my daily habits, knowing small choices add up

Are you a fan of lentils?✨️

On New Year’s Eve — traditionally at midnight — is an Italian tradition said to invite prosperity in the year to come. Since I’m a fan of prosperity and lentils, I really can’t think of a reason not to eat them.

Symbolism aside, I happen to love lentils. So, many years ago, I adopted the Italian tradition.

All of it is a ritual in calling in abundance. The lentils are said to resemble ancient Roman coins. And since they expand and swell up as they cook, so will your bank account.

Ingredients:

(10 oz) dried lentils
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 onion, finely chopped
1 carrot, finely chopped
1 celery stalk, finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 bay leaves
400g (14 oz) canned diced tomatoes (optional, for a richer sauce)
500ml (2 cups) vegetable or meat broth
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions:

Prepare the Lentils
Start by rinsing the lentils under cold water to remove any impurities. Unlike some legumes, lentils do not require soaking, which makes them quicker to prepare. However, check the package instructions for any specific recommendations.

In a large pot or deep skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion, carrot, celery, and minced garlic. Sauté the vegetables until they are soft and fragrant, about 5-7 minutes.

Stir in the lentils, ensuring they are well coated in the oil and vegetable mixture. Add the bay leaves and pour in the broth. If you prefer a richer flavor, you can also add the canned diced tomatoes at this stage.

Bring the mixture to a gentle boil, then reduce the heat to low. Cover the pot and let the lentils simmer for 25-30 minutes, or until they are tender. Stir occasionally and add more broth if needed to prevent the lentils from drying out.

Once the lentils are cooked, season them with salt and pepper to taste. Remove the bay leaves before serving.

I cannot believe that we are approaching the end of 2025.

Where has the time gone?

Whether you celebrate Christmas, Chanukah, or the arrival of the Winter Solstice, I just wanted to take a moment to wish you and yours the very best this holiday season, and a bright and prosperous new year.

Just a reminder to take an opportunity to slow down and pause amongst all the busy-ness of the season.

EGG NOG {DAIRY FREE- GLUTEN FREE- REFINED SUGAR FREE- EGG FREE}

Egg nog is traditionally enjoyed at Christmas time using dairy, refined sugar and eggs. A recipe that will cause sugar spikes, lowered immune system, inflammation and more....

This easy, dairy free and vegan "Eggnog" is sure to become a holiday favorite. With simple ingredients like coconut milk, natural sweetener and some spices, I will show you how very easy this creamy, spiced holiday drink can be.

This easy eggnog recipe is hands down way healthier than store-bought. Without any added preservatives or hard-to-pronounce ingredients, you’ll find it still tastes great. Sweetened with a blood sugar-friendly sweetener you can easily adjust the amount based on your preference. Serve the eggnog with or without alcohol, chilled or over ice, at your next holiday gathering.

For a larger batch, just double, triple the ingredients ( you get what I mean)

Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups of coconut milk
2 Tbsp of maple syrup
1/3 Tsp of pure vanilla extract
1/4 Tsp of cinnamon
1/8 Tsp of nutmeg

Add all your ingredients to a blender and blend until everything is incorporated

Serve
