Breast implant removal, or breast explant surgery, is becoming increasingly common as patients seek comfort, balance, and a more natural aesthetic.

This patient came to Dr. Plant after a previous surgery performed elsewhere. Her original implants were placed above the muscle to “fill” sagging skin, but over time this led to stretching and a grade 3 capsular contracture.

After a previous Brazilian butt lift left this patient with stomach contour irregularities and noticeable asymmetry, she came to Dr. Plant seeking more dramatic, natural-looking curves.

This patient wanted to refine her waistline and restore the projection of her buttocks, which had shifted over time due to gravity and childbirth.
