Shana Tovah Umetukah — A Happy and Sweet New Year
Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, marks the beginning of the Jewish High Holy Days. It is a time of reflection, renewal and hope for the year ahead. It is also a moment to gather with family and community, to share meals and traditions and to look forward with optimism.
This morning, in the Sharp Atrium, Chaplain Raquel Benlezrah led a joyful challah bake, where residents, families and staff mixed, kneaded and braided loaves to take home for the holiday.
As we welcome 5786, Baycrest extends heartfelt wishes to everyone celebrating. May the New Year bring health, happiness and peace to you and your loved ones.
