🚀 Paving the Way for the Future of Physiotherapy! 🚀

Thrilled to share that Propel Physiotherapy’s Kelsey Comeau presented at the OPA’s InterACTION 2025 Conference, presenting groundbreaking insights from the P.A.V.E Project! 🎤💡

This innovative study explores how virtual PT engagement + in-person PTA care can help address the Health Human Resources (HHR) crisis—without compromising patient outcomes. Here’s what they found:

🔹 No significant difference in outcomes between traditional (all PT-led) and hybrid (PTA-led + virtual PT) care models!
🔹 Surprising stat: The older the participant, the greater their improvement in balance (Tenetti score)!
🔹 Challenges? Consent barriers—clients/families had concerns about tech, language, and hearing impairments.

This pilot is ongoing, but the potential is huge! đź’Ş By leveraging PTAs more effectively, we can:
âś… Expand access to care
âś… Optimize PT time for complex cases & assessments
âś… Enhance teamwork & job satisfaction across the profession

The future of physiotherapy is collaborative, tech-integrated, and patient-centered. Let’s keep pushing boundaries together!
