We are looking for a friendly caring dental assistant to join our team of passionate dental professionals in Vaughan. We have been in the area for almost 30 years and pride ourselves on treating patients like family and providing excellent dental care in a warm comfortable environment.
The office is fully compliant with COVID protocols. Uniforms and all PPE are provided.
Digital, new 5D I-Tero scanner.
Preference for CDA II assistants with excellent communication skills. New grads welcome.
This is a permanent position, $29+ per hour, 3 weeks vacation pay.
Hours: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays 8am-5pm, Fridays 8am-3pm and Saturdays 7am-2pm.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
Keen motivated individual ready and willing to work and learn
Reception experience an asset
Good working knowledge on PC computers
Dental experience an asset but not essential, we will train the right candidate

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Greeting patients in a friendly, welcoming manner
Make a great first impression to create long term loyal patients
Front desk duties (emails, phones, scheduling, payments) with attention to detail
Maintaining and updating current, accurate patient contact information at each visit
An understanding and appreciation for the importance of customer service and professionalism
Accurate scheduling/confirmation of patient appointments by both telephone and email/text
Preparation, submission and follow-up of all pre-determinations
Interacting with insurance companies, billing insurance and patients accordingly
Thorough understanding of an assignment office
Conscientious and enthusiastic attention to office recall program
Dealing with couriers and dental labs
Strict adherence to COVID-19 protocols and insuring waiting room and reception area is clean and tidy
