Mindful BodyWorks is a new Yoga/wellness studio located in the Heart of Corsa Italia (St. The studio specializes in teaching members in our community Yoga, Pilates and Mindfulness Meditation following the traditions of mindfulness. Mindfulness means paying attention in the present moment, with intent and non-judgementally. Furthermore, mindfulness is the thread that connects all aspect of a Yoga, Pilates, or Meditation practice and it is an approach we hope our members can also cultivate in all areas of their lives through practicing at our studio. Mindful BodyWorks was created on the basis that every individual has the ability to live in the present moment and to achieve a mindful path to a healthier life through moment to moment awareness, acceptance, and generating compassion to oneself and to others. When we are practicing mindfulness, we are also giving our full attention to what we are doing and we become a witness to that which is present in our experience. At Mindful BodyWorks, we believe in interconnectedness and playing our part in helping our community grow and come together. We are proud to be a part of the Corsa Italia District, one of Toronto’s most historic and premier communities. Although we only launched our studio in December 2012, we are long-time local residents of St. West, and feel privileged to have the opportunity to give back to our neighbours spanning across Corsa Italia, Regal Heights, Hillcrest Village, Wychwood Heights, and Torontonians at large. The staff and mindful energy exchange students at Mindful BodyWorks bring together many years of expertise, experience teaching, and personal practice in each of their specialized modalities. We believe in the positive benefits of practicing mindfully and we are devoted to offering the highest quality of instruction, education, personalized care, safety and compassion to all of our members.
