"It helps to remember that our practice is not about accomplishing anything – not about winning or losing – but about ceasing to struggle and relaxing as it is. That is what we are doing when we sit down to meditate."

Join us every Friday morning starting at 10:30am, for an extended mix of sitting and walking meditation and book study.

In addition to the scheduled program, members and friends are welcome to use the community room during this time for personal dharma study, and authorized students are welcome to use the Vajrayana room for individual practice.

This is a "come as you are, leave as you must" open house, meaning you may drop in for as little or as much of the day as you like. Please respect others' practice as you come and go and do so quietly.

Please bring a lunch and enjoy some fellowship at 12:30pm. This extended practice goes until 2:30pm.

Join guest teacher .Yamada for this unique, intermediate-level non-flow yoga class, and deepen your body awareness.

In this intermediate-level, hands-on contemplative approach to body awareness, we will explore traditionally known hatha yoga poses with a "form is emptiness/emptiness is form" attitude, inviting curiosity, kindness, and common sense through breathing and posture.

This is not a vinyasa class. There is no jumping or repetitive movements. It will focus on longer, supported holds. We will practice asanas, inviting a deeper connection to breath, body, and mind.
Attendees should be free of serious mobility issues, e.g., no recent hip replacements.

Maximum of 10 people.
You can use gomdens and zabutons. Please bring your own mat, yoga belts, blocks, blanket, etc.

Class price: $30
Register in advance to ensure your spot.
