Only 8 recipes were selected for our Schlegel Villages cookbook. Thank you to all the family, volunteers and team members for assisting and participating.

Residents and team members set sail on our Boat for Hope today! The Wilfred Schlegel Hope Fund was created to support Schlegel Villages team members facing unforeseen hardships. Since its inception, more than $1.2 million has been distributed to help team members and their families during difficult times. Every ticket purchased, every dollar raised, and every moment shared on this cruise helps grow the fund and extend hope to those who need it most.

Diversity Lunches are back at The Village of Humber Heights!

We’re proud to celebrate the rich cultural backgrounds of our residents and staff through our weekly Diversity Lunches. Every week, you can enjoy a delicious meal from a different part of the world for just $10!

These lunches are more than just a chance to try new flavors—they’re a way to honor the diverse traditions that make our community so special!

Join us each week for good food, great conversation, and a celebration of the culture!

Proceeds from the event will support local community services.

On June 25, 2025, Green Benches brought together community and connection at Trinity Bellwoods Park for a day filled with laughter, storytelling, and heartfelt wisdom. Elders from Humber Heights, Maynard, and Fairview shared their experiences and perspectives, offering visitors the chance to sit, listen, and connect across generations.

Through the simple act of sitting together on a bench, we invited the community to slow down, engage in meaningful conversations, and honor the voices of our Elders. Thank you to everyone who joined us—it was a day to remember.
