Why the belief “You are not your body” Is a hoax

You've probably heard this expression before that "you are not your body."

This is actually an incredibly harmful belief to have and here’s why.

Many of the worlds’ religions have overtly or covertly taught us that our bodies and s*xuality are shameful.

We’ve been taught that the path to “God” is up and out.

You know, up “there” above our heads somewhere...

And not down here inside our bodies.

The more feminine path to spirituality and to God/Goddess is to know deep in our bones that our bodies are, in fact, a part of the Divine too.

That the Divine is inside of us and all around us.

When you know that Spirit is inside of you and that your body is HOLY, you begin to treat your body differently.

To take better care of it, move it more, feed it higher vibe foods, and see it in a new light.

You feel freer, more alive and more expressed.

Your boundaries about who you let in become stronger.

When you believe that you are not your body, it’s very easy to fill it with junk food, to hold onto limiting beliefs, to disassociate from your pain (which only ends up accumulating more).

Essentially, you live outside your body.

And it’s harder to feel connection, love, pleasure and all the good things that you probably actually really want to feel.

So, what if I told you that you ARE your body?

That your body (and more importantly, the way you feel in it) is a reflection of your mental, emotional and spiritual health?

How would this shift your reality?

I’m in the midst of gestating a new offering for women that is going to run so deep into our cores, into our bodies.

It’s sacred, holy work that our souls have been longing for in the reclamation of our feminine energy.

Not everyone is going to be able to meet you where you’re at.

Not everyone will be able to meet you in the fullness of your joy or your pain.

Not everyone will have the capacity to speak their heart to you or receive yours.

Not everyone will understand you.

Not everyone will be able to relate to you.

To stay when times are tough… or be there in every moment that you need them.

It’s okay.

This journey is about becoming more and more of yourself, becoming your greatest expression. It’s about learning, growing and evolving into the fullness of your soul.

The right souls will always be there.

Do not shrink to fit in or to earn love.

The more you love yourself and honour your Truth, the more you will attract others who do the same for you.

Change is in the air 🧚‍♀️🧚‍♀️🧚‍♀️

Last week we got dumped here on with 18 inches of snow and this week it started melting.

The birdies are coming alive again and sharing their songs. This seriously makes my inner child so HAPPY!!

I had chickadees in my hand yesterday in the forest.

I walked past a tree in my neighbourhood and already noticed that beautiful green spring glow around it 😍

Life is starting to re-emerge. Slowly. Winter isn't over yet, but you may feel the shift.

We can begin to wipe away the last bits of cobwebs from our winter slumber and start really dreaming up the seeds we want to plant for spring.

Today is the new moon in Pisces, the final sign in the astrological year and it marks the beginning of eclipse season.

Pisces is a dreamer...

I'm personally planning on sitting in a little ceremony at home tonight to get clear on my dreams, plant seeds and begin to take action on them.

✨ I Found My Sparkle Again ✨

This past weekend, I returned from a 4-day double mushroom ceremony retreat with Chris Dub and Ashley Gilmore that cracked my heart wide open.

I laughed, I cried, I felt so deeply seen, made lifelong soul connections, and even dared to do a naked cold plunge in a VERY cold river!

But more importantly, I came back to myself.

🌹 During this journey, I received potent transmissions from Mary Magdalene about what I’m meant to bring forward for you in 2024 🌹

2024 has been one of the hardest years of my life.

💔 I walked through heartbreak after a breakup with the man I thought would be my lifelong partner.
