Taking Care of the Caregiver: A Note to Fellow Massage Therapists
As a massage therapist working in mobile massage, clinics, and events, I know firsthand how physically demanding this profession can be. It’s a labor of love, but it’s also easy to forget ourselves while caring for others.
Self-care isn’t a luxury—it’s a necessity. Integrating exercise, proper nutrition, and holistic practices into my routine helps me show up stronger for my clients. I prioritize:
Fitness & Movement: Yoga keeps me flexible and focused, while strength training supports my body through long days.
Nutrition: Fueling with whole foods gives me the energy I need to stay grounded and resilient.
Holistic Wellness: Daily mindfulness, hydration, and downtime allow me to recharge and perform at my best.
Our clients rely on us, but they also inspire us to lead by example. Let’s show them what balanced wellness looks like—body, mind, and spirit.
