Botox 💉 is usually where I begin to address the jowls.
It is probably the least invasive way to create a suble but impactful lift which may cut down on the amount of other modalities (namely filler) that I will need to use in the future. .
Assessment and placement is important here - if you are not careful, lower face Botox can lead to annoying side effects....

Responding to a news story that paints the real picture of peptides and hormones..
My goal in life will be to stop the stigma and judgement of people for trying to live life in the most functional way that they can. .
60 years ago we died from all kinds of diseases and we happily accept the medical advances that cure us... Why don't we accept medical advances that let us be healthier and happier and live a longer more fulfilled life.

Tuesdays are my days off and I give my skin some extra TLC!
I keep it simple - layering too many ingredients is not useful as topical absorption is low... so stick to key players!

Keep in mind that my skin type is oily/acne prone. ..

This study showed that the left side of our face is more sensitive to pain... and it has to do with how our brain processes pain signals. .
Tha brain is so cool - and we can use this knowledge to our advantage. .
In this study when the participants received injections on the LEFT side first, then the right - their overall pain scores were significantly lower...!

I think I will use this to my advantage!!.

Are you a good candidate for jawline filler??
Here some things that can set you up for a fantastic result!..
✅ Close to ideal body weight - jawline filler generally goes closer to the bone so the more tissue it needs to lift the harder it is for it to create definition.

✅ Good chin projection - naturally, chin comes with a stronger jawline so they go hand in hand.

✅ No heavy jowling - jawline filler won't correct a heavy jowl in a natural looking way.

✅ Good tissue elasticity - skin laxity will hide your results...so it's a good idea to work on skin tightening first.....
